And Americans know Romney politics is what ruined this country.
A) Registered versus likely voters. Obama did increase his nationwide lead among registered voters. However, he only holds a 1 point nationwide lead (within margin of error) among likely voters which is always a better polling result.
B) Same goes for the state by state basis. Among likely voters Obama only holds very slim leads well within the margin of error.
C) This looks like one independent poll rather than a number from aggregate polling data.I'm looking ever so hard for who conducted the polling. Care to share?
(Don't worry - Romney is tanking on RCP also)
I wouldn't really call what I see on RCP tanking btw. Obama had the second convention and got a little better bump. He lost the bump he got after killing Bin Laden. In about a weeks time everything will be back to even again.
After the first debate the President's lead will be in double digits, if not sooner. Guaranteed. Mitt couldn't even hold his own in a debate with Herman Cain.
I love how you love to post polls when they sound good as a defense mechanism and go silent when the motion is against you. This is September 12, not November 12. Slow and steady as they say.
Obama has the economy against him and now foreign policy as his summer mistakes have lead to radicals in power in Egypt and Libya. He's decidely creating more problems in that region. This is moving toward 1979 all over again.
Ryan's oratory of lies at the RNC even amazed FOX. Team Romney had no defense; the managers simply said " there is no penalty for political deceit." Oh, but there is, and those voters in the states you mentioned will notice. The effects of continual lies are cumulative. And really now... who the hell will vote for someone who champions tax cuts for the rich..... that policy is already an established failure.
As for his "lies" they actually undid the so called fact checkers that either blatantly lie on their own, used biased soruces for "facts" or tried to fact check grey areas of opinion rather than fact.
Interesting facts are that Ryans dead plan was a bi partisan effort based on ideas from the Clinton admin. And the foundation of Romneys tax plan comes from that commission Obama put together and ignored.
Bottom line is the economy is bad, and now Obamas foreign policy is a failure too. Independents are going to break for Romney no matter how much the left prays.
..".Fact is that polls showed that while seniors in Florida were 50/50 on Ryans plan, they actually liked him by a clear majority".
50/50 is a clear margin?
Further, its a bit childish to not understand why one wouldn't implement the plan now. A plan like that always has to be phased in because people in retirement now made plans based on the knowledge of how Medicare and other programs worked at the time. Starting the plan over a decade down the road allows people to prepare for their retirement accordingly - and that includes the private insurers and the products and plans they'd need to develop.
Only someone thinking in the simplist terms asks that question.
- Again, if you're having trouble reading let me help you. Seniors are 50/50 on his PLAN but in the majority like HIM. Him versus his one plan. Two different topics being discussed. Maybe we should dump some extra cash into reading comprehension in whatever state you live in?
Paul Ryan fools only the marginally intelligent. The pseudo wonk has a vast audience in the GOP audience from which to choose. Mouth breathers and knuckle draggers are big Republican cheerleaders.
The CBO has already said the Ryan proposal would more than double the out of pocket costs of 65 year olds from $5630 to $ 12500. Premium support will boost administrative costs from the low traditional Medicare program to the higher administrative costs in private plans. Premium choice will limit choice for seniors. Private plans with limited networks dictate which physicians seniors may see and which hospitals they may use while Medicare gives free choice. Private plans profit by enrolling the healthy and shunning the sick . They certainly won't rush to enroll the elderly. The Ryan plan offers nothing but grief and expense. He has no solutions but is becoming almost as entertaining as Palin.
Saturday Romney Camp: Pot should never be legalized.
Sunday Morning Romney: Republicans who voted for defense cuts made a big mistake.
Sunday Afternoon Ryan: Reminded on FTN that he voted for defense cuts. Tried to lie his way out.
