He's probably really pro-choice, but probably doesn't feel very strongly about that or any issue stance and will take any stance that will most likely get him elected.
People complain about politicians saying whatever they think will get them elected, but then that's who most people vote for even when it's obvious that that's what the politician is doing.
In the interest of equal time I will bring up the point that Obama is pretty much the same talking like he wanted to bring the troops home immediately, talking like he wanted to stop the infringements on freedom that were happening in the name of security, and talking like he wanted prosecutions of those involved in torturing prisoners. He didn't mean any of it, but knew it would help him get elected and that his base is indoctrinated enough to support him even as he continues a foreign policy and policy of control similar to Bush's.
No, Obama didn't say anything about bringing the troops home immediately. He gave a timetable for both wars and he has stuck pretty close to them. I don't like Obama but that is one thing you can't fault him for. Bush refused to give a timetable.
Even though Obama was talking about combat troops he didn't get them out as the first thing he would do as promised, he extended the time table. Obama is forwarding the war agenda with a foreign policy similar to Bush's, but said what people wanted to hear to get elected. Obama had talked about possibly bringing the Afghanistan troops back in 2011 and then shifted it to 2014.
I'm relatively certain that Romney is personally opposed to abortion. No doubt, the GOP will put that in their platform, so wait for it. No matter what his political position has been in the past, I'll bet that during this campaign, he'll be anti abortion.
Who knows? For several years he and Ann sent checks to Planned Parenthood. He flips and flops like a big mouth bass out of water, but Team Romney says he is " evolving".
There you have it. The next time Willard tells a big lie... and another will be here shortly...remember that's not really lies, he " evolves".

In the past (2002) he supported a woman's right to choose
Who knows what he will stand for next week
