Will be interesting to see when team Obama conjures up something negative about Romney’s charitable giving in an attempt to dis Romney thereby endeavoring to make Obama look less like the pathetic, unsympathetic, penny pinching, cheapskate he really is.

The Obamas in 2010 earned $1,728,096 (mostly from books including a children's book) and payed net taxes of $493,004 ($453,770 paid to fed, $51,568 paid to Illinois, refund of $12,334).

Romney's net tax rate was around 13% by his accounts.
Also, the Obamas donated $245,075 to 36 charities including $131,075 to the Fisher House Foundation which creates scholarship funds for kids of FALLEN and DISABLED soldiers.

I also failed to mention didn't mention that Romney gave his entire inheretance to a scholarship fund, nor did I mention that while saving the olympics, Romney took NO salary and donated a million bucks of his own money to that cause.

My husband and I gave 12 times more than biden and we don't make anywhere near him.

what influences me is if they WORKED at a paying job/career, If they lead an honest life they are not afraid to make public (and really I dont care who they slept with or what church they attended becasue again that is personal with personal meanings I am not capable of judging). I am also influenced by their political theory as to purpose of government and their philosophy of what and how the purpose of government should be imposed on the people.
I didn't care that Clinton had an afair with an inter andy more than I cared that JFK had multiple affairs becasue neither used TAX money to support those afairs. I do care that the Obamas have used tax money to support their vaccation habit. If they only used the royalities earned from the publishing of two books I wouldn't care. Government officals can do as they please with their own money same as I can... its when they use my money that I get irate
