Won’t really influence my vote however, it certainly does speak volumes about one’s character.
Romney certainly in positive light and…well, you know the rest.
I wouldn’t care if Romney didn’t give a nickel to charity and Obama gave his entire income, Romney would still get my vote.
Will be interesting to see when team Obama conjures up something negative about Romney’s charitable giving in an attempt to dis Romney thereby endeavoring to make Obama look less like the pathetic, unsympathetic, penny pinching, cheapskate he really is.
Romney Gave 15% ($21.7 Million) To Charity, Obama Gave 1%($10,772). Biden gave a grand total of $369 Does charity(personal $$, not tax payers) influence your vote?

The Obamas in 2010 earned $1,728,096 (mostly from books including a children's book) and payed net taxes of $493,004 ($453,770 paid to fed, $51,568 paid to Illinois, refund of $12,334).
Their net tax rate: 29%
Romney's net tax rate was around 13% by his accounts.
Also, the Obamas donated $245,075 to 36 charities including $131,075 to the Fisher House Foundation which creates scholarship funds for kids of FALLEN and DISABLED soldiers.
That's 20% of their disposable income they gave to worthy and needy charities.
Romney estimated his taxes to be around 13% and his total donations + taxes to be around 20%.
The Obamas paid + donated 43% of their total income. More than double the rate of Romney.
The Obamas are estimated to be worth $10-12 Million.
The Romneys are estimated to be worth $200-250 Million - more than 20 times as much. Romney's income and net worth come from various and largely unknown investments.
The Obama's tax numbers include state taxes, Romney's numbers do not. The Obamas paid less than 25% in federal income taxes. He is in the 1%, shouldn't he pay more?
He also donated 330K to charity in 2010 and Romney donated 2.9 million
The numbers you are posting consist of invalid information.
I got mine from a very reliable source, the whitehouse itself.

And how do you feel about a millionaire who gets a $12,000 dollar refund?
I also failed to mention didn't mention that Romney gave his entire inheretance to a scholarship fund, nor did I mention that while saving the olympics, Romney took NO salary and donated a million bucks of his own money to that cause.
But you didn't mention that, either, lol! :-)
My husband and I gave 12 times more than biden and we don't make anywhere near him.
bama likes our money to gold and vacation on. That's where he wants the wealth spread.
PROGRESSIVES...TAKE FROM EARNERS...AND, RE-DESTRIBUTE...
what influences me is if they WORKED at a paying job/career, If they lead an honest life they are not afraid to make public (and really I dont care who they slept with or what church they attended becasue again that is personal with personal meanings I am not capable of judging). I am also influenced by their political theory as to purpose of government and their philosophy of what and how the purpose of government should be imposed on the people.
I didn't care that Clinton had an afair with an inter andy more than I cared that JFK had multiple affairs becasue neither used TAX money to support those afairs. I do care that the Obamas have used tax money to support their vaccation habit. If they only used the royalities earned from the publishing of two books I wouldn't care. Government officals can do as they please with their own money same as I can... its when they use my money that I get irate
I might be a conservitive and I some times vote republican but I tend to try and ignor that D or R and look more at the real actions nad words
Problem is the President should not be popular for his charm, he should be popular due to his results running the country
Most middle class Americans donate between 8-12 %
1% is pathetic and Obama should hide in shame---he sure is no humanitarian
