Romney Continues To Tee-Off On Obama’s “Doing Fine” Comment, Will “Go Down In History” As “Extraordinary Miscalculation”…

Mitt Romney blasted President Obama for comments during a press conference Friday in which the president suggested the private sector was "doing fine."

"He said the private sector is doing fine. Is he really that out of touch?" Romney said at an event in Council Bluffs, Iowa. "I think he's defining what it means to be out of touch with the American people."

In the president's remarks Friday morning, Obama repeatedly said hiring at private industries was "fine" and occurring at "a solid pace," arguing instead for additional funds for state and local governments to hire teachers and emergency personnel. But Republicans quickly pounced on his remarks in light of May's disappointing job numbers, and Romney said the comments could have historic implications. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/231777-romne...

It's OK to mention it for a few days and then get off it.

Let the SuperPAC's make some commercials using the footage but he has to be careful about over-playing it himself.

That was the quickest “return fire” ad I have ever witnessed in a presidential campaign.

It's as if the RNC had an advance copy of Obama's script, made this ad, and waited just after the words left Obama's blue lips before they released it.

One thing I can say about the Romney Camp.. He has one heck of a rapid response team.

Ten minutes after Obama made that moronic statement, the Camp and RNC released a short ad using it.

Obama must have thought in the beginning that he is going against an amateur, but is quickly finding out Romney will turn everything Obama throws at him around (eventually making it backfire on the Obama administration), and has a team (his own, the RNC and the PACs) that are well funded.

The RNC and DNC conventions haven't even been held yet, and Obama and his hacks are quickly running out of unfounded BS they can use against Romney, while the Romney campaign is gathering more and more real damaging items against Obama every day.

Everyone should be appalled at Obama's comment, and Romney is just the guy to lead the response.

Yeah. Like when Barney Frank was on HN saying that "everything is fine, keep on lending, keep on borrowing, keep on refinancing". Now how many people lost their homes because they believed that hack? Don't forget folks: They play for the same team.
