Romney campaign raises $1 million in three hours after Obamacare decision

maggiemay 2012/06/28 18:22:53

The Romney campaign raised $1 million dollars in the three hours
immediately following the Supreme Court decision to uphold President
Barack Obama’s health care reform law, according to a campaign
spokesperson’s tweet.

Romney campaign spokesperson Andrea Saul tweeted: “Just crossed $1
million raised for @MittRomney since SCOTUS decision. #FullRepeal.”

The tweet was sent at 1:25 p.m. The Supreme Court decision was handed down around 10:20 a.m.

The massive fundraising haul indicates that the court decision could
galvanize Republicans, ultimately helping them, in spite of the court
not ruling in their favor.

This was a sad day for my family. Todays ruling by the Supreme Court was like death sentence for my husband. A few years ago he had a pace maker put in, otherwise he is in good health. During his 6 month checkups, the technician and representive of the pace maker that was put in my husband, stated that under the new Obamacare regulations my husband will be too old to recieve another pacemaker or to replace the battery when it goes.

My husband's heart doctor has hinted that his pacemaker is working but is starting to show signs it will go out. If the pacemaker goes before Obamacare is fully implemented, then it can be replaced. If the replacement can not be justified before the healthcare law fully takes effect, my husband will have to go without and die. It does not matter if we sold everything we have to pay for the operation, it will be unavailable to my husband. So here we wait, ironically hoping that it will go out soon so that my husband has a chance of having it replaced. Meanwhile, we try to downplay was has happened today with our children, because we don't want them worried to death that they may be losing thier father in the next couple of years.

Now we will have taxation with denied services.

    no thanks obamacare

neither do the rich, history and the jobs numbers prove that. I don't want to take from the rich anymore than they want to take from me... we're paying the highest rate of corporate welfare than at any other time in our nation's history. There are consequences for that.

And WE Are Paying The Highest Corporate TAX in the World...Taxing them Higher will Make More Corps Move Offshore and Hire Workers Overseas and Increase Unemployment...
This Is Why Taxing Corps and the Rich, Who Own these Corps and are Major Shareholders In these Corps, Does Not Work...They Will Leave...Like they are already doing...

they're doing that now.. and get paid to do it thru the tax code. Manufacturing is down because the last several years have seen major shifts in how things are built and produced. No matter the outcome of the autoindustry, they were never going to replace any more than 2/3rds of the jobs lost in the recession. However, I agree the corporate tax is too high. But everyone has to give.

That means broaden the tax base; reduce the number of deductions across all classes including some from the 'poverty' class. The entire general fund is from less than 50% of eligible taxpayers. Get that back up to more like 75%.

Stop making those who are currently exempt not pay anything and only take. Simplify the tax code. Income vs tax. period I believe in freedom and democracy as the next guy but if muslims around the world ain't got the gist of it after 10 yrs, they're not gonna. It ain't that hard. I've seen dolphins with more brains.

Draw our troops back home to watch the borders, tell Japan and our other friends in the Pacific - 70 yrs of watching their back door is coming to a reduced state or outright end. Put those monies into healtcare and education. They can go back to honorably killing their wives and daughters and leave their drugs there, we don't need them. I don't care what the ...

They can build schools and invest in their kids or not - not my problem.

Mexico just had their major federal election. Now is the time to highly encourage them to get their sh*t tightened up. Mexicans and south Americans who want to migrate are welcome and their path to citizenship be streamlined. Illegals and drug cartel members need to be hunted down and shot immediately. It is not required that we be 'nice' and listen to their BS reasoning for what they do. An invasion is an invasion; slow or fast, it is still a threat to us.

We have about 50 million kids in high school and college. Our foreign commitments equal about the same total dollar amount it would take to get them all thru a 4 yr school every yr they were in it. They fail to pass, or shjow up to class - they 'volunteer' for border duty. We can do this. We know how if we try...

the rich are on a reverse kind of welfare where we're subsizing their tax burden. I already gave my stand on our taxation; lower the burden for everybody but broaden the base

In a very real sense , it WAS ! In the beginning ( Before Bush - AND - Obama ) the " Rhyming Reverends of Racism " , Jackson , Sharpton and the Usual Suspects tried to EXTORT the banks by forcing them to make low interest loans to " People Who Could Not Aford To Bay Them Back " . These turds made THREATS that they would Go On TV And Ruin Their Businesses if they didn't play ball . THEN they went to congress AND the president who came up with this recipe for disaster ! THEY both put pressure on the banks " to make these bad loans " and the rest is history .

Of course I did not expect " YOU " being a French Socialist to understand this . This Loan Program was made to " Level The Playing Field " as the LEFT likes to call it !
