My husband's heart doctor has hinted that his pacemaker is working but is starting to show signs it will go out. If the pacemaker goes before Obamacare is fully implemented, then it can be replaced. If the replacement can not be justified before the healthcare law fully takes effect, my husband will have to go without and die. It does not matter if we sold everything we have to pay for the operation, it will be unavailable to my husband. So here we wait, ironically hoping that it will go out soon so that my husband has a chance of having it replaced. Meanwhile, we try to downplay was has happened today with our children, because we don't want them worried to death that they may be losing thier father in the next couple of years.
Now we will have taxation with denied services.

Rather than throw out our present healthcare system and throw the baby out with the bath water we really should have addressed reforming present healthcare system and look into the costs of coverage, prescriptions, hospital care and testing, long term care etc...
It is too bad that our government cannot and has not realized that American healthcare is one of the best on the planet in technology, successful surgeries and the cutting edge of medicine. The problem is the cost and the nearly impossible task to monitor the excessive cost draining the average person.
Therefore we look toward the government as the food stamp program to take care of everyone and then the abuse starts. We know how that...

Therefore we look toward the government as the food stamp program to take care of everyone and then the abuse starts. We know how that works with all the loopholes.
Socializing medicine will chase many otherwise talented and ingenius people to even want to become doctors or enter into the nursng program compromising the quality of care received in a timely fashion for sure.
Handing healthcare over to our Federal government is dissterous move in my opinion
I would love to send my energy bill to Obama.
...and I do not believe that the health care law in Mass included such things as a tax on selling expensive houses and a requirement that cattle farmers count the number of bushels of manure that their cattle produce.
The Republicans do have a plan (have had one all along) that was not just some free market rant. Look it up.
