Romney campaign raises $1 million in three hours after Obamacare decision

maggiemay 2012/06/28 18:22:53

The Romney campaign raised $1 million dollars in the three hours
immediately following the Supreme Court decision to uphold President
Barack Obama’s health care reform law, according to a campaign
spokesperson’s tweet.

Romney campaign spokesperson Andrea Saul tweeted: “Just crossed $1
million raised for @MittRomney since SCOTUS decision. #FullRepeal.”

The tweet was sent at 1:25 p.m. The Supreme Court decision was handed down around 10:20 a.m.

The massive fundraising haul indicates that the court decision could
galvanize Republicans, ultimately helping them, in spite of the court
not ruling in their favor.

This was a sad day for my family. Todays ruling by the Supreme Court was like death sentence for my husband. A few years ago he had a pace maker put in, otherwise he is in good health. During his 6 month checkups, the technician and representive of the pace maker that was put in my husband, stated that under the new Obamacare regulations my husband will be too old to recieve another pacemaker or to replace the battery when it goes.

My husband's heart doctor has hinted that his pacemaker is working but is starting to show signs it will go out. If the pacemaker goes before Obamacare is fully implemented, then it can be replaced. If the replacement can not be justified before the healthcare law fully takes effect, my husband will have to go without and die. It does not matter if we sold everything we have to pay for the operation, it will be unavailable to my husband. So here we wait, ironically hoping that it will go out soon so that my husband has a chance of having it replaced. Meanwhile, we try to downplay was has happened today with our children, because we don't want them worried to death that they may be losing thier father in the next couple of years.

Now we will have taxation with denied services.

    no thanks obamacare
