Mitt Romney called on Harry Reid Tuesday to reveal the source for his claim that the Republican presidential candidate has not paid taxes for 10 years, stepping up pressure as two major fact-check sites ruled Reid had no basis for the "incendiary" allegation.

Romney, in an interview with Fox News, said he doesn't believe Reid has a credible source but urged the Senate Democratic leader to reveal who it is.

Romney can put up and show his taxes as many many Republicans have suggested. When a Liberal promises to keep a source confidential they keep their word. This is a difficult concept for conservatives, I understand.

Harry Reid's source is David Axelrod, the story originated in the DNC, Inc. basement boiler room. This is from a reliable source that will remain anonymous.

If this is not true, Harry Reid should prove it.

Hell if I know, I'm not interested in tax evasion, I don't think that's the issue and I don't think that's even close to what Reid said to begin with (I could be wrong)..

As I said most of you are accusing Reid of lying but I haven't seen any of you prove it.

Tax evasion *is* the issue. Harry Reid said, "Mitt Romney cannot show us any tax returns for those ten years because he never paid taxes during that time."

Even if he had no tax liability in each succeeding year, he would still have to file.

Harry Reid flat-out accused Romney of failure to file income-tax returns.

That, is a felony.

Now if Harry has any evidence, or a reliable witness to Mitt Romney failing to file his income taxes, then the law says that he needs to go to the United States Attorney with that. And if he does not, that's misprision of a felony.
