Rise in ROBO-CALLS SCAMMING the Military/Veterans ..

There's been a number of various and sundry
SCAMS that are using rotating Robo-Calls
(as well as various and sundry e-mail schemes too)

it is the Robo-Calls that are specifically a problem
especially with those who are Elders
(and may not have the most up to date Caller ID systems and/or Blocking at their personal Phones)

The numbers ARE ROTATING ..
several different Area Codes across the USA are being used ..

the Caller ID Can come up saying ...

"Thank You" (then a number)
"800 Service" (then a number)
and either just a tone or a robo-message (always the same one .. even though the numbers are different indeed)

Now with my own Phone Services
I not only have Caller ID
I've also got auto-roll-over to VoiceMail
for any calls that are not in my personal Phone listing
(and they do capture Dates, Times, ANY possible Caller ID Information .. including Locales)


These SCAMMERS .. when they roll over to Voice Mail Systems (like mine)
keep a ring tone going .. or just hang up with nothing said ..

That is why I use specific Websites and other references
to check the experience that OTHERS have had with these Numbers ..

DO FILE Complaints .. (I encourage it)

The more we DOCUMENT these scams .. the faster these are PROSECUTED and shut down ..
(and we do NEED to SHUT DOWN .. all these scams targeting vulnerable Citizens)
