Stop using credit, and the Middle Class needs to stop paying burdensome taxes. But we need more 'weapons' than that. Ideas?

It's time for We The People to take matters into our own hands starting with a nationwide tax revolt, stop paying all bank loans and implement a national plea for our military to come home and rescue their country and put up a fence around DC and call it the National Penitentiary. Then put all of them (politicians and judges) and their bankers on trial and punish them for treason. And a note to the media ... we have special plans for you!

If 70 percent of Americans use the Internet frequently, I haven't checked on the latest numbers, but as an example. At least half of those are playing games I would guess, whether it's various RPG's or Facebook type, then the others are probably just checking email, maybe stopping by a site like this for a while, some are checking out Internet versions of the same corporate propaganda they would watch on television, and that leaves probably 10-15 percent that are actually spending time researching events, gathering information, studying, on-line activism, and so forth.

My suggestion would be this. Printers are relatively cheap now, ink not so much, but anyway, get your hands on one. Do a little creating of basic fliers with info on them, or even a folding info brochure or whatever along those lines. Get some of these printed up with current events with an objective view, informing rather than simply spreading propaganda, be controversial if the truth is not being told, take no prisoners. It may not seem like much, but I figure a few people are getting the info that otherwise wouldn't be, probably more than expected, and in the case of fliers, if they're not taken down, they will be something a person may stop and pour over for a moment and think about as he/she is cont...

Once you nudge their natural curiosity they may even go home and spend less time on the game and more on researching and then participating in spreading information on what's really going on in this country. This would also get to those who aren't on the web, and maybe some who have already been told will see it and it'll become more real when they're seeing it on a bulletin board at the local convenience store. You can't force people to help or to even wake up to the reality of what's going on, but at least the seed has been planted.

"The final trap is the funeral ten grand to hundreds of thousands of dollars to die?"- I've already told my family to bury this body in the woods somewhere, but please put some rocks on top to keep anything from getting a whiff and trying to dig it up :) Unless I'm out in public in front of people when it happens, but if possible, even if it's a ride to the house, they can "Weekend at Bernie's" till they get me there, and it'll be worth it considering the high cost the death wardens are waiting to squeeze out.

I have always said I want to die like a dog, go out in the woods and lay down under a tree..
Earlier this year I died twice on the operating table, I am glad they shocked me back so I can choose when to die...

Refuse to buy luxury items, or any item you can produce yourself. What you do buy, buy with the money you've saved... from local small business owners.

By spreading the word. 1 tells 2 and 2 tells 4 and 4 tells 8 and 8 tells 16 and on and on. When we have gotten the plea out to the majority of our troops, they will come when they see We The People doing our part and giving the finger to the criminals who are destroying America and enslaving us.

Cut back on corporate welfare, as well as regular welfare (through job programs).
Buy local/American groceries and products, require companies that benefit from American law to only employ American citizens...

If Congress actually listened to us, no revolution would be necessary. Buying local is a good idea though. As would be practicing more barter - so you know how if/when the SHTF.

Okay, show me where I'm wrong... show me that there have been cutbacks to corporate welfare and government assistance... show me where American citizens are choosing local products over imports... and show me where companies benefiting from American law are being required to hire American workers. Because I'm sure you can't... those things haven't happened.

You are majoring in the minors. I refuse to come down to your stinking level. What you are talking about is meaningless when it comes to who is in charge and control. You are lost and a major reason why America is toast.

Oh I see, you're trying to start an argument I wasn't making in the first place. The question was "What peaceful weapons do we have against the Plutocracy?" - I provided some. I'm all open to debating those points and why they may or may not work.

If I did that, you'd have to find someone else with whom to start irrelevant arguments. So why do you stray so far from the point... is it because you only have a set number of things you can easily discuss, without actually having to think?
I mean, if I'm so clueless, why are you wasting your time talking to me?
  • ConLibF... Inquisi... 2012/07/02 19:24:54

The proper question is why do you waste your time on meaningless topics? Is this what you have been brainwashed to think about and programmed to not open your mind?

I wasn't aware that taking personal responsibility for the good of one's country was considered a meaningless topic. Sure, we can sit around and blame the government for every problem, but the people are also the government, to a lesser degree of course.

The proper question is the question that was originally asked "What peaceful weapons do we have against the Plutocracy?"

Since TuringsChild cleared up the question for me, I realise my points about corporate & social welfare, as well as business laws, don't count since they offer nothing people can do, as citizens. So, I am left with my point that people can choose to research what they buy and only buy local, or American.

So, if you have something to add to my point, or a reason why that's not a step that people can take, I'm open to discussing it with you. If, however, you wish to stay off topic, feel free to reply, but I'm done responding.

The point is that we as individuals cannot stop corporate welfare because those we send to Washington won't LISTEN to us. We need to take direct action. I'm looking for peaceful actions you and I can take to 'starve the beast'. You can choose local products for yourself. But you cannot write laws for govts or corporations to obey.

Boycotting products isn't effective anymore. Say you want to boycott pringles potato chips so you decide to by doritos instead. Doritos is owned by the same corporation that owns pringles so it is useless.

It isn't effective, if you don't want to put in the research to see who owns what. I'm Canadian, so I buy only Canadian products as often as possible. Yes, there are times I cannot find a purely Canadian product, so I'm stuck with an import, but for the most part, I'm supporting my country over other countries. It's a small effort that, if more people made the attempt to find out where their products come from, keeps some revenue within the borders. It's not THE solution, but it is still a positive.
