After some traveling around the United States for some time Rev, Jim Jones finally landed in San Francisco, where his (church) was to thrive amoung the LiberaL Progressives. Jones's church Known as the Peoples Temple......Jones convinced so many that he was the one to lead them to a better life and all they had to do was to follow him in every way... In the final act of insanity he lead almost one thousand people to an island called GUYANNA and set up "JONESTOWN"

.He was a real community organizer, and people were mesmerized by him.....Jones was a very accomplished speaker and was soon able to attract some influential people..at least at first......

..I hope that any one who has not read the story of this man ,would take the time to learn about him.......It boils done to a man with good speaking skills and the ability to convince people that he would think for them, and take care of them , Jones had an ego that was enormous and of course that, along with drugs in the end was his down fall.....Rev. Jim Jones is a perfect example of what happens when you turn your life,money, mind and soul over to one human being......It never turns out good.. Congressman Ryan and four reporters were killed that last day trying to rescue
them.
