Just like the hubub over a restaurant that gave a discount if someone ordered in Spanish, this is liberalism run amok to think that anyone has any business telling me how much I have to charge to sell a product to someone else. If you don't like that restaurant, vote with your wallet somewhere else. Start a restaurant of your own that gives discounts to people of the group YOU belong to. Stop interfering in voluntary transactions between two people that are not you.

Privately owned businesses can do as they please, serve or refuse service to anyone, don't like it, shop elsewhere.

If you have a public business you can't discriminate against people because of race, sex religion or political views it makes the people being discriminated against upset as it should. It is very offensive

Yes, you can do everything you said that you can't do. If you own the business. It may not be conducive to profit making but you have a right to discriminate against anyone or group.

It's a private property issue. Also, before anyone brings it up, I'm an atheist. If you are one and don't like the policy, you have a very simple and effective tactic to use that doesn't involve begging the goons to come in and make them do what you want. Don't patronize that establishment. Eat somewhere else.

The owner was very reasonable and even offered the intolerant hateful Atheist the same discount if he would simply make up his own "freedom from religion" pamphlet to bring in but I guess that was far too much trouble for the lazy trouble making lowlife.

Yes, YOU do. And they show quite clearly when you say you hope others will lose business. If a business gave special discounts to Muslims, I would figure they preferred Muslim customers, and would respect their choice. I would NOT wish them ill.
