I don't care what anyone says, this is really messed up. I know some Republicans can defend their positions, but unfortunately for them, some of their supporters who happen to get most exposure in the press, are completely and utterly braindead. "Heil Hitler"?? I'm not even Jewish and I believe anyone who says such stupidity should be arrested.

Generalizing that Republicans are like 5 year olds is like generalizing that all Democrats are idiots. Just because a lot of them are, doesn't mean all of them are. The problem Democrats seem to have with the protesters is that they aren't willing to sit back and not ask questions. People being engaged in the political process is far less childish than assuming any politician has your best interest in mind. Sadly, there is no good argument for the merits of this healthcare reform. If there was, Democrats would use it. Instead of telling America how the plan makes any sense at all, they spend their time getting upset that some people dare to speak out against it. THAT's childish.

I'm not sure what side of the argument she is on. She was wearing an IDF shirt, which just makes her use of that term baffling. Such anger, over what? A statement that Israel takes care of their solders medical needs? There is a difference between passionate speech in support of your position (whatever that is) and hate speech.

People are scarred of the government control and some are using desperate extreme measures to prove there point. I wouldn't of done this myself, I think that woman is mentally ill, there's freak's on both side's. But it's a good example of how sensitive this issue is for a lot of people.

The vast majority of the Republicans are not like her.

Unfortunately, in this day and age, it's only the voice of the extremists that are heard-- because they shout the loudest and they are the most sensationalistic.

A similar parallel may be the Muslims-- the vast majority of them are peaceful people, who simply want to live their lives in peace and to do the best they can for their families.

However, there is a small group of extremists who blow stuff up and who engage in terrorist activities--and since the moderates don't condemn the extremists, to the outside world ALL of them seem to be extremists.

It's the same way in today's Republican Party. It's being led by extremists, and the extremists are the ones doing all the shouting--while the centrist and moderate Republicans who DON'T hold those extremist views are being painted with the same brush-- simply because we don't denounce the extremist views as BEING extremist.
