Republican Senators Uphold American Values and Interests by OPPOSING LOST ( the Law of the Sea Treaty)!

This treaty is designed to get more money from the U.S. to fund Left-wing globalist projects which are rarely in the interest of the United States. The proposed treaty also nibbles away at U.S. sovereignty which now extends to the outer edge of the Continental shelf. Potential revenues from mining resources in the seabed may run to trillions of dollars. Why should we give control of this area, important to us for both financial and security reasons, to the United Nations, the vast majority of whose members are openly hostile to us and to our interests?
Today's passion to action focuses on those Senators who have not signed the letter from Senator Inhofe to Majority Leader Harry Reid, declaring their opposition to the LOST Treaty. We are demanding that they sign immediately. Start calling or emailing now and don’t stop until they do.

+3I've called my Senators and get typical dem talking points, but with two of the most liberal senators, Stabenow and Levin, i never expect them to represent my viewpoints! Michigan is represented poorly in Washington, hopefully people will get it right and realize we need to get rid of Stabenow in November! The LOST treaty needs to be stopped America should answer to any other entity, national sovereignty means we decide what's best for our nation not the UN!! The UN needs to be escorted out of the US and we need to leave it now. This treaty is only one of many that will take away the rights of citizens in this country and force us to answer to the UN! Examples are The Rights of the Child Treaty, which gives your children the right to do as they wish and parents can do nothing to stop them, the Rights of the Disabled Treaty where the UN decides how to best care for disabled Americans not that person, their family, or their doctors! Is this what so many have died to preserve? Us handing our freedoms over to others? We the people need to stand against the politicians, the UN, and any other group waiting in the wings to take our freedoms that others fought and died to keep!
