Yeah somewhat surprised, since the Republican party is so tied in with religious right. As the party sells itself as a of purity and righteousness, that a Republican would talk in such sensible terms does surprise me.

They have been taking advantage of women since this country was founded Now they have to pay for it.

Why are you surprised? There are stories of many conservatives hooking up with prostitutes. One of the more famous is the right-wing, hate-filled minister from Louisiana, Jimmy Swaggart, who apparently had the hots for LA whores.

I can't help it if Nixon thought the prostitution scandal included John Dean's wife. It doesn't negate the fact the Nixon White House ordered a break-in at a hotel and violated the law. Of course, conservatives don't care about the law.
