Have the repubs done anything for or to this country that did not involve fraud and lies?
Did the repubs invade the right country?
Did Bush and Darth Cheney think the law also applied to them?
Do repubs think and act as though honesty and leadership are options they want, or are capable of?
Do repubs really give a rat's *ss about you or what you think or want?

They are too afraid to say "yes" to anything for fear that they won't be re-elected by their base.

Just like the Republicans and their plan for health care reform....they have never put one forward and fight the Democrats on having reform every step of the way....why do they constantly act like this.....

First of all, I don't support either party, as both are corrupt! With the socialist party having a super majority, why would anyone care what the minority party says or does ?

In it's current make-up, there can be NO obstruction, and saying no to unconstitutional legislation is what we hired them to do.

But hey, wait until next year, there will be ample opportunity to call them obstuctionists because the socialists will lose their super majority status.

What do you mean? Of course they enjoy being the party of NO. No leaders, no ideas, and no morals. These are the reasons republicans remain so unpopular.

Here is a charity rave for you. "click."

If congress and our President could give the republicans something to actually say "yes" to, then they'd do it.
But having one BS government-growing program after another thrown in their faces, will only result in the no's that you detest.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.

It's not just that Republicans always say no, it is also that they have come up with NOTHING for anyone to say yes to. What have they accomplished for this country? Tax breaks to the rich? And that's exactly what they'll do should they take back the majorities even though all evidence shows lower taxes does not work.

What have the Democrats come up with, more giveaway programs for those of us who pay taxes to fund?

All evidence shows the handouts don't work yet you bleeding hearts keep handing it out.

You failed to include the most recent numbers for the current administration. I wonder why.

2009 Federal Budget - $611 billion dollar deficit. A shameful thing.

2010 Federal Budget - $1.17 trillion dollar deficit. Not a problem to the Democrats like the $611 billion deficit was made out to be.

also thats funny handouts like welfare to the poor like Bill Clinton who's mother was on aid and he became president and Obama's mother and also grandparents also received those handouts I'm more worried about the handouts the repubs give like corporate welfare so they can send american jobs overseas

You give two exceptions. What about those who as adults now lived on it as a kid and whose kids will have a more likely chance of living on it as adults? You use two notable exceptions and apply that as the general rule when the opposite is the real truth.

You don't think things like this, http://www.cbc.ca/world/story... will have an effect on jobs? Obama's answer to everything is tax, tax, tax. However, he tends to exempt those who are in line-step with his agenda and goes after those who aren't.
  • GOD Skeeter... January 15, 2010 14:30:37

there is a exception to every rule in like business I know there are companies out there that need help BUT there are also companies who's profits come straight from corporate welfare and whats the tax tax tax thing he's raising them back to what they were under clinton so it's going from 35% to 39% and from what I remember the 90's were pretty dam good for the wealthier class HELL for everyone

It won't be the businesses paying the tax although it is implemented on them. No business has or ever will pay a tax. The government wants businesses and corporations to create jobs, job, jobs. However, the same government looks to these businesses and corporations first when they want to implement or raise taxes then wonders why jobs aren't being created and jobs go out of the country. If I am in business and the same government that wants me to improve the situation looks to me first when it comes to raising taxes, guess what I'm going to do? I'm gonna go to where I can cut my costs. Businesses are in business to make a profit. Any business owner that says differently is either a liar, a fool, or will soon be out of business. There are two ways to maximize profits in business. You either lower costs,. raise prices, or a combination of the two. Seeing that people raise hell when prices go up, there isn't but one other option.

Why are the unionized industries, like the auto industry, exempt from such taxes? I can't think but of one good answer.

Lower taxes are awesome! As a multimillionaire I love to get tax breaks from the Republicans I buy in Congress.

    Wait a second...I'm not a multimillionaire...so I don't get the tax breaks...damn...

But you don't believe that, it would rock your fragile belief that only far right crazies work.
