Rep. Steve King Threatens to Sue Obama Over Immigration Order?

~ The Rebel ~ 2012/06/16 01:54:46
Iowa Rep. Steve King said on Friday that he would sue the Obama administration
to block its newly announced plan to grant amnesty to certain children of
illegal immigrants.

“I will tell you that — I’m not without experience on
this — I’m prepared to bring a suit and seek a court order to stop
implementation of this policy,” King said on former Arkansas Gov. Mike
Huckabee’s radio program, The Daily Caller reports.

The Republican
congressman, vice chairman of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on
Immigration Policy and Enforcement, told Huckabee that he had prevailed in a
lawsuit against his own state on a similar separation of powers
issue.

It's really a shame King has to sue 0bama in an attempt to force him to do his job. It's clear 0bama doesn't have a clue what is expected of a president.

I'm really not against giving young immigrants who are here illegally, through no fault of their own a pass, but with a lot of restrictions.

But we do have a congress and what he's trying to do for political purposes is illegal and dispicable.

It's too late in his term in office to touch barry. Any suits or impeachment measures will not even get heard.

Good for Steve King. Another on the long list of things for which Obama should be impeached. Since impeachment probably cannot happen due to the makeup of Congress, the better alternative would be Arresting Obama for Treason, which list is also long. Criminals should get a trial, and if guilty of Treason, should be disposed of.

“I have done it once in the past successfully when then-Governor Tom Vilsack thought he could legislate by executive order — and the case of King vs. Vilsack is in the books,” King said. “And that individual, by the way, is now the secretary of agriculture. I wonder if he’s not counseling the president on his legal proceedings.”
