The reason we have a higher-than-desired unemployment rate is because the growth in the private sector is offset by shrinking in the public sector.
So... Obama is, strictly speaking, shrinking the size of the federal government. This may not sit well with you (that a democrat would shrink the government), and it may not even be Obama's first choice, but it is true.

David Axelrod: "In June of 2008, the price of gas was four dollars and ten cents a gallon."

GAS PRICES HAVE BEEN HIGH FOR TWO and HALF YEARS NOW and when everyone was COMPLAINING during this BUSH TIME( as if DEMS WEREN'T CRYING LIKE BABIES), it only lasted for a month or two at the most, then started to decline...YOU ARE WAY OFF ON THIS ONE...
