While I have a faith, I am a Friend, I believe in science more than "God". I have lots of company both in the Friends and also in the Unitarian church.
Do you think NASA should be an entitlement? I am very disappointing that things may be winding down for you at this time but your not alone. I hope things change for you we should be engaged but these are not normal times. Good luck, i think it'll come back for u.
Science is better because it looks at the evidence and then tries to find a conclusion to fit the evidence while religion starts with the conclusion and then tries to find some facts to back up the conclusion making it much more likely to find the wrong answer. Science tends to get the right explanation and contribute to progress in our understanding of the world while religion does not. Religion is at best useless and at worst harmful.
I refuse to put a check mark of mine on anything relating to the impostor. I am a science guy. Religion has no place in my life. I resent that you equate the impostor with science. He is not for real science. He is for science that is used to abuse people and their right to exist, as in technology to track, surveillance, and to poison food, water, drugs, and vaccines. He is the enemy. A Fascist pig sent to destroy America, our Constitution, the middle class, the family, and turn America into a prison.
Talk about an impossible choice to make. Science does not have God in it. Religion has selfrighteous bigots in it seeking their own that will go on the war path if the right name is mentioned that they think God wants dead. God is the opposite to our solid body even as life around us is the opposite to the non living things people make. God gives life people give death in the military. Stop supporting the military and you will support what God supports.
Actually science does not need religion as you do not need religion to perform experiments, analise data, and come up with a theory to fit the evidence. Religion in some cases needs science but science does not need religion. If you try to argue that science needs religion because some of the great scientists were religiose what you should know it that there is a difference between a religiose person making scientific progress and religion helping to increase scientific knowledge. Religion does not help scientists who are religiose to make the discoveries they do.
The pictures you chose are really old scientists who were not around to see the greatest discoveries in the history of science during the 20th century. The two greatest scientists of the 20th century, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking did/do not believe in God.
For a minute there I thought you meant blumpkin (big mistake on my part).
