Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A shot rings out, but the burqa-clad woman sitting on the rocky ground does not respond.

The man pointing a rifle at her from a few feet away lets loose another round, but still there is no reaction.

He fires a third shot, and finally the woman slumps backwards.

But the man fires another shot. And another. And another. Nine shots in all.

Around him, dozens of men on a hillside cheer: "God is great!"

Officials in Afghanistan, where the amateur video was filmed, believe the woman was executed because two Taliban commanders had a dispute over her, according to the governor of the province where the killing took place.

Both apparently had some kind of relationship with the woman, said Parwan province governor Abdul Basir Salangi.

"In order to save face," they accused her of adultery, Salangi said.

Then they "faked a court to decide about the fate of this woman and in one hour, they executed the woman," he added.

Any religion which would condone evil behavior such like this is not a religion, not to mention it's a male dominated religion which only benefits men, and treats the women like garbage. That's ok. God will get them at the judgment, and it won't be pretty!

It's the extremist in Islam that cause the problem, not everyone who practices is this screwed up. No religion is guiltless of atrocities.

Perhaps....But, until I see Muslims protesting "en masse" against the terrorist attacks, I shall consider them supporters of such.

Let's see them marching in the streets with signs saying: "Not in the name of my religion!"

There is next to nothing coming from them condemning the terrorist acts

Since they both could not decide who was sleeping with her..... they saved "their honor" in a sort of sick "Solomon's Decision" sort of way.

Pray to God we can be wise enough to send this religion packing from our shores. How many women have been murdered in America in ways like this already/

Oh no I'm not. Already things are beginning to happen which God said would in the bible. He'll punish all of those who do these things and many others. I'll be looking forward to that day when some of these people get what they deserve, from rapists, murderers, child molesters, organized crime figures, and the list goes on. What goes around comes around, and I've seen it happen many times. God's court has no appeals, no attorneys, no plea bargaining or acquittals. What other people believe is up to them, and I respect their beliefs as long as they respect mine. I'm not calling YOU names like you just did me.
