People who DO NOT qualify for unemployment benefits... like the thousands of recent college graduates that can't find a job DO NOT COUNT, neither do the thousands of small business owners that went BANKRUPT thanks to Obama's economic policies, and the MILLIONS whose 99 weeks of benefits have been exhausted DO NOT COUNT... anyone who has taken statistics knows how to manipulate figures... Obama has some GREAT ones on his payroll.

All of the business pundits and experts will tell you it is just a technique to skew the numbers, but if the labor dept, and obuttman LIARS aren't careful as the experts will tell you they will have a tough time explaining how COME ELECTION DAY UNEMPLOYMENT WILL BE AT 0%. Think they are lying? people don't even know the half of it. And the fact that HE HASN'T A CLUE, and he has DESTROYED the economy in less than 4 years, people have to quit with "fluffy, pretty" terms such as propaganda, and call it what it is LYING, NON STOP LYING.

I read recently it is more in the 25% to 30% range, because so many people are not even looking for work any more, and of course that also includes the people living on government handouts.

My son graduated last spring as valedictorian from college in the medical field and cant even get an interview. It's bad when hospitals are laying off and have hiring freezes.

During the Great Depression, unemployment hit 24.9% but I dont know if they figured it the same back then as they do today. The highest it was since then was in 1982 at 9.7% and it averaged 5% from 1998-2008 but in December of 2008 it was 7.2%
