In my opinion with the recent assault by progressive America to disarm its citizens (Australia supports that too) ignoring the potential ramifications is worse then anything the conservatives say. What happens if that causes a civil war? What happens if thousands of citizens decide they would rather die then give up their guns. Would the death of 10,000, 100,000+ be worth ridding America of guns? Real progressive liberal mentality would focus on the outcome with the least violence; and that would be to leave things as they are and focus on implementing security controls in schools to prevent this happening.
Reading republican/conservative comments on here make the Taliban look like pussy cats.

I'm a conservative Australian, but reading the pure hatred that some of you write about your President turns my stomach. The absolute nonsense about socialists and communism is mind blowing.
Then comes the crazy religious people who spew intolerance and hatred on here. My Jesus never taught people to be like that.
I have brought many people to God but never from preaching or judging them. If you people don't stop behaving like this the USA will never get strong again, you don't have to worry about the Taliban you are doing a good enough job destroying yourself without their help.

I agree.I cannot figure out why they hate working people when they obviously are in the same situation as most others. I guess they just hold out the hope they're going to be a rich Republicans. But I have news for them , 60% of the rich in this country are Democrats. Suckers.
