(Update: That stupid blog is now off the front page of the hot list after a week. I guess there are more racists on SH than I thought! Oh well, my protest is over and I am back! Suck on that my haters! lol And to my friends, thank you for your support!)

The blog says "RAVE this if you're WHITE and not ashamed of it". How is that racist? If it said "BLACK" or "HISPANIC" or "ASIAN", nobody would bat an eye. But because it says "WHITE", it's racist. What are we supposed to be ashamed of?

Really people say a lot more on here than being proud of being white!! I actually commented on that one! And as I said there, There is Nothing wrong with being proud of what you are! As long as it does not disrespect, bully, intimidate, project racist views or hateful things towards others. Being proud of being whits, Hispanic, Black, etc does not mean you are a racist!! Unless you are putting others down in that prideful expression!!

I wish there were a more mild way to disagree because I have no interest in seeing you leave, but I do have to say that I don't think the link you cited is racist. At worst, it's simply ignorant as to why many non-whites would find declarations of "white pride" off-putting. Racism is a serious charge, and I feel it should be reserved for clearly malicious treatment of ethnic groups, not just someone who's unable able to understand why some empathy may be in order.
