I completely oppose Nazism, but want to make the observation that Fascism and Nazism are different things. Fascism can be positive like Franco's Spain, but Nazism is pure evil.
I mean seriously?
*sarcastic voice*
oooobviously we should all be nazis.....
*end sarcastic voice*
I'm pretty sure that the sentiment against Nazism is ubiquitous in most rational people: this question was unnecessary
Nazism is a code word for the coalition for the corporate/political/relgious alliance to take our country into a dark age of suppression of personal freedoms and our individual liberty.
As Sinclair Lewis is said to have stated: "WHEN fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the Flag, Carrying a Cross"
Does anyone know the truth about the Third Reich from which to form an opinion based on facts? The victors have written the history on it and filled that history with lies. The Tribe controls the mainstream media, government, big churches, entertainment, and Internet forums. The Tribe suppresses the truth and supplants it with fabrications. I think anything that has a group working so hard to control public opinion deserves a closer look.
Hitler and Nazi society was fascist. Fascism, in any shape or form, should never be encouraged. It takes away people's freedom and makes them intensely fearful of authority and the "elite" ruling class.
Germany was the lowest of the low, beaten down mercilessly in the wake of WW1. Hitler restored their morale and their economy. Sometimes, a fascist is just vot zee doctor ordered. :O)
Hitler restored morale and the economy by abusing the minorities and ripping them off their rights.
Germans didn't want to believe that they were weak and they were the ones at fault for losing WW1, so Hitler found a scapegoat to put the blame on, the Jews obviously who were a very small minority of the German population.
Hitler took away their jobs and made them do free labor, hence industrializing Germany again without having to pay them and therefore benefiting the economy. He discouraged women from working so therefore only German men would have to compete for jobs and have no threat from any minority group, therefore giving higher employment status.
Hitler also overestimated his power and dragged Germany to World War 2, which obviously did never benefit Germany at all.
The advantage that Hitler gave Germany was short lived and was achieved by neglecting and abusing minorities.
The Jews controlled much of the wealth, so he confiscated their property and killed them off in a bizarre 'gene pool' obsession that he held.
He probably could have held most of what he conquered in Europe, if he hadn't pursued the Russian and African fronts. In any case, I suppose Germany is MUCH stronger today than it would have been if Hitler had never come to power. It would probably be another Balkan State-- formerly owned by Russia.
I'm not saying that such tyranny is pretty or pleasant-- just that the time was ripe for such a man to rise to power. And the world learned what a mistake it is to leave a country in such devastation. Obviously, he was a lunatic and should have been ignored or assassinated.
That's the way it goes, though... how many nations have been built without injustice and bloodshed? Even Nepal must have had a Yeti purge at some point.
National Socialists never called themselves Nazis. If you start in the pejorative, there is nothing to discuss. To have an opinion, it helps to know something about National Socialism, something more than the biased narrative on the History Channel.
Modern National Socialism, aka Neo-Nazism, does attract sociopaths but does not welcome them or accept them. The philosophy itself is worth understanding fully and deserves more than hysteria about Hitler and numbers of dead Jews far beyond what would have been possible.
What I don't understand is why the question was posed. Is it just another Sodahead pimping easy points?
I am not talking about national socialism, I am talking about hitler and the nazis (here the people in supporting hitler) if you think what he did was right, that's up to you. I am just asking this question to see people's opinions on hitler and the Jews.
I don't react hysterically to the subject because I know something about it. In any case, your "ears" are not everyone's ears. You can speak for yourself alone.
