He was building up Africa, supplying clean water systems, free housing, education through the PhD level, healthcare, etc. Gaddafi was setting up a currency system backed by gold that would have rocketed Africa into self sustainability. The western banking powers tried forcing Lybia and Africa as a whole into a central bank, but he refused. That was the main reason they took him out. And what was the first thing the rebel forces established when overthrowing Lybia? A central bank. And, he was not killing his own people. In fact, Gaddafi provided weapons to his population to protect themselves from the rebel forces being shipped into the country under NATO control for up to a year prior to the total overthr...

We killed over 100,000 innocent people while funding Al Qaeda as our "rebel forces". I knew a dozen private journalists on the ground in Lybia. I had first hand information and footage provided to me showing mass genocide funded by us, including the extermination of the black Lybian population and the rape and murder of their children, repeatedly.
I find the fact that he had Osama Bin Laden executed was a poor decision at best. From the propaganda...*cough* news, it was implied that the US forces had complete control over the situation and should have arrested Bin Laden and brought him to a court of justice.
Now however, in my eyes, America's military are no better than terrorists who go out and kill not because they have to but because they can and that is not justice, it is not freedom it is not protecting those close to you. It is wrath, pride and greed. The complete opposite of what America is supposed to stand for.
On the other hand I believe that any president in Obama's shoes at the time would have ordered the exact same thing. That is how American's are they are swayed strongly by their emotions. (Like most of our western society come to think about it).
Vote winning? Yes.
The right decision? No.
America likes to think of it self better than terrorists, yet fights terror with terror...that's not better, that's worse.
