Rave this: If you think we should have a National Voter ID Program in place.

I think a National Voter ID Program would make a huge dent in Voter Fraud that seemed so rampant in the 2008 Presidential Election.

You show your driver's license or similar ID for most other civic transactions- Jury duty, getting insurance (any type), volunteering at your kid's school, etc. Flashing your ID before voting would cut way down on voter fraud. Heck, most people who supported Clinton back in the '90s wanted a national ID for health care purposes. Why do those same people (including many posters here) oppose ID now?

It's really sad isn't it, that there are people who actually think that way.

So we are just going to give them a pass on it. This could verywell be our last chance at a free election.

Voter fraud should be punished the same as Treason.

I agree, but even treason gets a pass here lately.

Don't care, as the "registered" voter decides nothing anyway.

We decided some things in 2010. We must not give up on America.

No. Need to learn how things truly work, and it has NOTHING to do with the "vote" or "election", all of which are pre-decided.
The only real 'monkey-wrench' I see going on is if Ron Paul wins the GOP nomination, either by Acclamation, brokered convention, or getting the balloting to go past the first-round.

I'm all for a voter ID program but believe it should be handled at the state level, just as the elections are.
A National program would just give the Federal govt. another foot in the door.
Social Security numbers are bad enough

That's a fact. Like him or not, people have to rally behind Romney because he IS the candidate who will be opposing the left, whether 0bozo survives a proper vetting and runs or not.

If we don't take back the WH, it wont matter what happens in Congress or the SCOTUS because the USA will be ruled by Executive Order and there will be no 2014 0r 2016.

Fine.... flush your ONE vote down the toilet just as many did in 1988, more did the same with Perot in 1992 and the return of the Paulbots in 2008.

Let him run third party, hand the election to the Dem's and he and Son Rand may as well move out of country because the witness protection program wont be able to hide their asses well enough.

All that is needed is to check the voter's ID using current valid ID such as a driver's license or Social Security card. No new federal ID would be required.

A Social Security card is not a valid form of ID and even says so right on the card.
It needs to be a state issued DL or ID card with a picture, address and basic description.
