OUR State Department is responsible for security as well. Foreign aid to countries includes keeping our embassies properly staffed and safe. Who is in control? This administration is nothing but mahem because all they know how to do is yuck it up, vacation and swill. Meanwhile, this country burns. Read the signals. THEY HAD 48 HOURS NOTICE!! and given that. along with our military presence in that region of the world. and the fact i trained with units for just this type of scenario.there is absolutely no reason they they could not have secured the embassy. or extracted all american personal. or both! but thats neither here nor there. since it has been shown that they had 48 hours notice. and since you say obummer knows everything that is going on. Probably. I'd heard that we had received reports that this was coming, but we don't know yet whether or not those reports were given serious consideration enough to have been passed up to Obama's briefings.
If it turns out that there is definitive proof that he should have known and did nothing, either because he was inattentive or too busy campaigning, then yes. It would be his fault.

I don't think Obama attending these meetings would've made a difference. It's been reported that his regime knew about the threat 48 or more hours prior to them happening.

This should be an impeachable offense, and under any other President, it would be. But not this one.
