Hysteria reigns on Soda Head today. The Cons have all gone mad with blood lust, foaming at the mouth and drooling from their lips with bile and vengence over Obama's so called traitorous acts. Personally, I find it laughable in the EXTREME and my sides won't stop aching from the laughter. Cons have gone overboard, does anyone want to throw them a lifesaver, or just let them drown in their uncontrolable hatred?

The negative energy coming from the right, makes it hard to breath. Why so much out rage over Brain Terry ( a brave border patrol agent) didn't seem as though there was this much rage when Giffords was shot and several people died.

Almost immediately after that horrific shooting, the Tea Party was called out. The reality is there was nothing political about the shooting, just the act of a crazed, schizophrenic individual. Fast and Furious involves government officials and the cover up of what happened. My question is why aren't people more outraged about the deaths of not just Americans, but hundreds of Mexicans. The stonewalling of this administration is vile. All Americans (right and left) should be demanding the truth.

Many documents concerning this failed program have been turned over, what they are asking for now is different.
Deliberative privilege is not a legal absolute. The executive branch concedes that when another branch of government demands privileged documents within the executive's control, they sometimes have to be turned over.
They have to be turned over when the demanding branch can articulate a compelling need for the information to fulfill one of its own constitutional functions -- a need that outweighs the executive branch's interest in confidentiality.
A key problem now for the House Oversight Committee is thus far it has yet to state in a very concrete way why it needs the particular documents it is demanding.
In contrast, the executive branch has articulated a strong and highly specific reason for withholding the documents at issue: Forced disclosure to Congress of internal deliberations concerning how best to interact with Congress would undermine the executive's capacity to function as a co-equal branch. It would undermine the prospects for future candid deliberations about interactions with the other institutions of government.

It's quite simple. The documents turned over did not include the dates of documents requested... and Holder has been caught lying. All he has to do is release the documents that will back up his testimony.... no big deal, unless you are guilty.

“Chairman Issa’s letter makes clear that sealed court documents relating to pending federal prosecutions being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California have been disclosed to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in violation of law,” wrote Deputy Attorney General James Cole to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Issa this week.

“This is of great concern to us,” the letter added.

A spokesman for the DOJ declined to comment about whether it was planning to launch an investigation into the leak.

Democrats say that Issa is exaggerating what he has. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), the ranking member on Issa’s panel, reiterated this week that top-ranking DOJ officials didn’t personally review any of the six wiretap applications related to Fast and Furious. Issa sent Cummings the information he received from his source.

Two former prosecutors for the DOJ, who were not familiar with the details of this article, independently told The Hill that defense lawyers could use an instance of documents being leaked in violation of a court-ordered seal to justify seeking a mistrial.

It is unlikely that the DOJ, if it does investigate the leak, will have grounds to go after Issa for accepting the documents. In past instances of court-ordered seals being broken, it is the actual breaker of the seal who is held responsible, which in this case could mean criminal contempt proceedings and possible jail time.

Forget the intricate legal jargon of which both sides are guilty.

Do not you think that it is about time that the truth was disclosed. in simple English, who the top echelon were who authorized "Fast & Furious.?" I, as well as most Americans, and especially the parents of Brian Terry, deserve answers without the stonewalling and the legalese.

Obama never should have declared executive privilege. Personally, I do not believe that he was personally responsible for the operation ... and it may be doubtful that Holder was either; and even if Holder knew about it, how was he to know how screwed up an operation it might become.... and this is coming from someone who is by far no fan of Holder or Obama. By declaring executive privilege in this matter suggests a cover-up in which both Holder and Obama are involved...and it was not necessary. The whole thing was a monumental mistake resulting out of noble intent... just own up to it.

If Issa is just out to demonize, then Issa is wrong... but there is no reason for the Obama administration not to reveal the truth, except for a temporary embarrassment. All they have to do is say, "We screwed up. We tried to help end the killing in Mexico and the U.S.from the drug cartels. Arizona can appreciate our efforts We're sorry. Those who are accountable thought they were doing the right thing." Then name who was accountable.. and let the chips fall. In a month, all will be forgotten and it will not hurt his campaign. Now, due to executive privilege being declared, this scandal will be in the forefront through the election and beyond.

    Am I wrong?

you might want to read Fortune's investigation.
    There's the rub.
Quite simply, there's a fundamental misconception at the heart of the Fast and Furious scandal. Nobody disputes that suspected straw purchasers under surveillance by the ATF repeatedly bought guns that eventually fell into criminal hands. Issa and others charge that the ATF intentionally allowed guns to walk as an operational tactic. But five law-enforcement agents directly involved in Fast and Furious tell Fortune that the ATF had no such tactic. They insist they never purposefully allowed guns to be illegally trafficked. Just the opposite: They say they seized weapons whenever they could but were hamstrung by prosecutors and weak laws, which stymied them at every turn.
Indeed, a six-month Fortune investigation reveals that the public case alleging that Voth and his colleagues walked guns is replete with distortions, errors, partial truths, and even some outright lies. Fortune reviewed more than 2,000 pages of confidential ATF documents and interviewed 39 people, including seven law-enforcement agents with direct knowledge of the case. Several, including Voth, are speaking out for the first time.

Giffords was wounded and people killed by a nut case.We know who was responsible. Brian Terry's death, and probably many deaths of Mexican nationals, was caused by government policy; and we, as tax payers who financed the operation, and the parents of Brian Terry have a right to know who was responsible.

If that were the case, there would be names. Only some names of the lower echelon have been revealed... not those who authorized the operation. The way it looks now, and it may take a long long time ... well after the election, if the investigation is pursued and a civil court is petitioned, the executive privilege will be abrogated and the documents will be released. By that time, it will have no effect unless Holder is still in office and he was the one who approved the operation. He will then be gone. However, if Obama is still in office, there will be no consequences for him. Declaring executive privilege to protect himself or his administration is his Constitutional right ... unless he were trying to cover up "high crimes" or treason, which he was not.

It always makes me chuckle when people shout out for the "impeachment" of a president. Most all of them do not even know what the word means.

Why are not the 1% (or even me, for that matter) not doing anything with their money?

...and secondly, it takes brains to make money...and it takes brains to invest it with companies that provide jobs in order to receive a substantial return on that money.

So why are investors and entrepreneurs and banks not investing that money, which in normal times would be invested?

The answer is quite clear. That is why you should have bought better tickets for a better seat.
