Rave this: If you think that "Hope and Change" is Left Wing code, for "Divide and Conquer".
The only change I have seen is from bad to worse and the only hope we have, is that we get Ryan Romney in the White House,2012.

'They' are also controlling more and more of the American people and the elements of our culture and society. Don't be foolish. BO won't start off taking over businesses or marching all the intelligentsia into the countryside to starve like Pol Pot did. But this America barely resembles the America that should be (and was 50 - 60 yrs ago) and BO is busy, busy, busy doing his best to make sure the government takes over as much as possible.
The communism I see at present (socialism is just communism watered down) is one where individual liberty and freedoms are more and more restricted, where the individual is represented less and less, where bureaucrats and their overwhelming regulations ultimately kill and smother individual incentive. Dependence on government is encouraged, fostered and may, at some future time, be demanded.
Principles, virtues, religion and values are denigrated and mocked. We have a president who lies, demeans anyone who disagrees with him and coddles our enemies and is disingenuous with our allies.
The America that WAS 50 years ago ENSHRINED Franklin D. Roosevelt as the GOD of MIDDLE CLASS PROSPERITY. FDR helped America by unleashing a host of middle class programs and REGULATIONS that severely limited corporate malfeasance.
Our recent mortgage crises was started by Fannie Mae, but with the belief that we can RESPONSIBLY hand out mortgages to certain lower income individuals with decent credit scores and job histories. Independent mortgage lenders worked a loophole that allows them to GET AWAY with handing out LIAR LOANS which do not include proper credit score checks, income checks, and employment verification.
LACK of regulation allowed these lenders to not only issue out liar loans, but also allowed investors to MONETIZE these bad mortgages, to SELL these "assets" as TRIPLE-AAA rated, and to HEDGE THEIR BETS against their crap.
FYI: Obama pushed regulations to PREVENT this from ever happening again. The REASON why you conservatives NEVER talk about SPECIFIC REGULATIONS is because once you talk about the DETAILS of the regulations, every NORMAL person sees...

No one put a gun to anyone's head and forced quarter-million dollar loans on people who might not make enough money to make a car payment, let alone a mortgage payment.
ARMS and such were grabbed hold of by people who didn't see that at the 5 yr end, their payments would skyrocket, duh !!
Again, if our dear president would meet with his financial advisors and job council, jobs could cure so many things wrong...

Republican, as Governor of Mass, he had 87% Democrat Assembly and they worked together to reduce unemployment, debt and yes, even provide healthcare.
