In China, if their citizens crosses the border. They get shot dead. If Mexico crosses the border, we provide them tax money, welfare, food stamp, housing and medical and dental benefits. At my work. I have to pay taxes, medical and dental and pay for my house. The Sheriff is doing what is best to keep out illegals that has become annoyance and a big problem for the City and State.

Really? Where in law does it say that people in jail have to be humiliated? You know, like with pink underwear... To me, pink underwear means nothing, but I am sure that that poor excuse for a law enforcement officer thinks pink is the colour of shame for obvious gay reasons (well, obvious in his head).

Didn't you hear. They didn't have enough staff to do a complete investigation on all the cases. You would complain too if they gave you tons of pile of crap you have to shovel in one day and couldn't do a good job out of it.

I don't recall reading that, it was more like neglect. But whatever the reasons, it can't be good. Ignoring or not doing the job is no excuse. I've worked overtime for no pay for lesser causes.
