The Obama Admin took part of his 287g authority away back in 2009. He's a media whore just like Plain and as whacked out as Bachmann, he's right up there with Rush..
He's not a cop he's just another politicain.. And Az. SB1070 should be overturn completely.. Obama has deported more and tried to resolve this issue more then any other President other then Reagan... You people should be thrilled....

The Sheriff is a very concerned citizen, elected to do the difficult job that he is preforming very well, and he is making enemies out of the Liberal Lefties because ....."They can't handle the truth!..." Can't say enough good stuff about "Sheriff Joe"! (SO, where are the comments from those cowards who voted "He's a douchbag!"? If this Sheriff was a concerned citizen and a good sheriff, then why did he let all those child sexual abuse charges go without so much of a investigation. I didn't even know who this old fart was and wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I type his name into google. I have no respect for any person that allows children to be harmed.

I think some of his 'creative' law enforcement policies are awesome (the tent cities, the pink jump suits, etc.), but he seems to be abandoning police work (which is what he gets paid to do, right?) for politics -- and if he becomes a politician, he'll be a douchebag, just like all the others.

hmmm,, not so sure Sheriff Joe is walking a beat , or ride in a squad car,, I would think that Sheriff Joe is administration,, he is the leader of the police force , and in Maricopa county the terriority is over 1,000 square miles ...

Sheriff sets the tone for his officers, they do the actual police work..
