Well, there are many reasons for it, starting with her gender: Sarah Palin, had she been elected to the White House, would have been the first female VP. Moreover, she would have to be the odds-on favorite at this point to become the first woman President.

That upsets liberal feminists to no end because she is a living, breathing refutation of their style of feminism — which is intellectually bankrupt and seems to stand for nothing any more except increasing the number of abortions, encouraging teenage girls to act like skanks, and pointless complaining about the “patriarchy.” Sarah Palin represents a totally different style of woman: the conservative feminist. She’s had a successful career, raised a big family, and has done it all without aborting an “inconvenient” child or carping about men keeping her down. The idea that Sarah Palin could become the new role model for feminists terrifies liberals and it has inspired them to ramp up the artillery barrage of malignity that they typically launch at conservative women, which is extraordinarily venomous to begin with. Whether it’s Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, or Carrie Prejean, there are few things on earth that liberals hate more than strong, conservative women.

I agree! She made good showing in 2008 and is the reason why McCain lost the popular vote only marginally when it looked like he was going to lose nearly by two out of three ratio. McCain's numbers started going up after he chose her and the left sensed danger of losing so their entire media propaganda was directed against her. They would concoct stories that were not true, an army of investigators were harassing her and army of lawyers was filing frivolous lawsuits that were being dismissed but caused her financial distress. Americans need to protect her when she is asked to serve in any capacity.

What is fast becoming a phenomenon, are the liberals who are still angry at John McCain's choice for his running mate, Sarah Palin.

As they do with all politicians, comedians imitated, poked fun at, and mocked both John McCain and Sarah Palin. Tina Fey, from Saturday Night Live, has made a successful career out of making people laugh, while mocking Sarah Palin.

Even the adult cartoon geared towards children, Family Guy, got into the act and took it a step further. They decided to make fun of Sarah Palin, and her son, Trig, who has Down's syndrome.

Every liberal cable news program found they could not say enough bad things about her, and have carried their hatred for Sarah Palin, on into the second year of Barack Obama's presidency.

We all know that the Women's Lib Movement angered many men. Some men still believed that women should stay at home and raise the kids, while they went out and earned a living. Others felt women were less intelligent than men were and should not have high-paying jobs, successful careers, or even be involved in politics.

This could be the basis for liberal man's hatred of Sarah Palin. She not only angers liberal men, she frightens them.
