How can you send someone "back" when they never came from there in the first place.

If you're not with him you must be a racist... that kind of thinking is racist itself.

You're a birther. You've got no room to complain about being called racist.

I see, you're a racist if you believe in and stand up for the Constitution.

At birth Obama was a Dual National making him ineligible to become President but because he inherited his non American father's skin pigment instead of his mother's, I'm a racist...
  • Magus BN-0 Keith K... 2012/09/13 15:36:59
    Magus BN-0
That does not make him ineligible to become president. A natural-born citizen is exactly what it sounds like: anybody who is a US citizen at birth.
  • Keith K... Magus BN-0 2012/09/13 23:17:28
    Keith Kakugawa
You are wrong, the word "natural" has a meaning; a natural born citizen is a person whose citizenship is not dependent on any act of law.
  • Magus BN-0 Keith K... 2012/09/15 15:02:39
    Magus BN-0
There is no one whose citizenship is not dependent on an act of law. The very concept of citizenship is created by act of law.

Wrong again, using your logic, no one born in the U.S. after 1776 and before the Civil Rights Act of 1866 were citizens.

Do you even know why we have a 14th Amendment?
  • Magus BN-0 Keith K... 2012/09/17 14:12:46
    Magus BN-0
Do you seriously think the Civil Rights Act of 1866 was the first US law about citizenship? Your ignorance of history is stunning.
  • Keith K... Magus BN-0 2012/09/23 04:08:41
    Keith Kakugawa
Before 1866 there was no law on the books giving persons born in the U.S. citizenship.
  • Magus BN-0 Keith K... 2012/09/24 00:16:57

No act of Congress was ever needed, because common law precedent had established that principle from the very start.
  • Keith K... Magus BN-0 2012/09/24 01:13:58
    Keith Kakugawa
It was not the common law of England... before the 14th Amendment birth alone in the U.S. was not enough to be a citizen.
  • Magus BN-0 Keith K... 2012/09/24 02:07:15 (edited)
    Magus BN-0
Actually, the common law of England has said for hundreds of years that anybody born in the country is a citizen.

Birth alone has always been enough to be a natural-born citizen.

You're wrong again, the common law of England was never the common law of the U.S. Republic, England did not have citizens, they had subjects and if you were not a christian you were not even considered a Subject...
  • Magus BN-0 Keith K... 2012/10/05 13:27:44
    Magus BN-0
Citizen and subject are legally interchangable terms. We simply switched from the term subject to citizen when the US was founded because we're a constitutional republic whereas England is a constitutional monarchy.
