To be honest, I think we only need to elect people without ideological agendas... If we took out ideology, maybe we all could unite and stop dividing this nation...
Are you up for that challenge? It's' something neither side wants to face.
And part of this mess we're all in was created by the Dems as well.
One of the complaints I hear from the cons is that deals we're made in the past, and always there was a expectation of cuts, but in the end we've always spent more.
I hate to say it, but they do have a point... But I bet if you looked BOTH sides were spending our hard earn dollars.
We all need to realize that we can't keep borrowing... There's going to be a lot of pain ahead... There no magic bullet for this one, and as soon as we stop all this finger pointing and get people into office that only want to resolve the issues at hand... and not put it off... and not make deals where in the end we still spend more, nothing is going to go right for anyone.
Your right, I hate the bickering on both sides... And caving into either side, isn't the solution... We have to grow up... make the necessary cuts, reform taxes, cut the loopholes and tax those who can afford to pay a little more... Every bit helps...
We have thousand of veterans about to get out of the service.. Trust me... we're going to need lots of $$$ to take care of them.
We have the baby boomer's retiring and that's going to hit us hard. We need to look beyond the fighting and prepare fo...
