well, since hes been in office, i have bought a car, ive had the same job for 3 years now, im closer then ive ever been to getting healthcare, my mothers social security has went up by almost $50 a month, the city i live in is booming, renovating and bringing in more stores and restaurants, and my states jobs have gone up significantly since he took office. I see no monster here. my life is just fine, and instead of bitching about him not helping the homeless, volunteer at a shelter! I volunteer for animals a lot because i think they dont get the help they need, if you dont like how things are going, DO SOMETHING YOURSELF AND STOP BLAMING THE PRESIDENT! :) he doesnt run my life!

if "paying attention" means listening to the media for everything i know, then your right, im not paying attention. I pay attention to my life and how the lives around me are changing, and they're doing just fine. my rights are all still quite in tact.

you go girl. the media is just a tool used to make things look so much worse then they are. yes he is not the best president we have had, but you have a point there are a lot of people he did get some benifit out of the things he has done. just remember 1 good deed will not outweigh the all the bad ones.

thanks :) and i understand that the good sometimes doesnt match up with the bad, but i think people focus too much on the bad, and dont give the good any credit... ive seen many good things hes done and many bad things, but the things that always get blown up on tv and in the newspapers is always the bad :( until i actually feel my rights being taken away, or the rights of others, ill continue on my mission to make the world better one smile at a time, and always look at the glass half full :) life's too short for pointing fingers and bitching :)

I do not watch or have anything to do with ANY news organization. Any knowledge I have comes from researching. And you making the statement your rights are intact, shows that you don't know what's going on.

Do you have the right to fish without permission from the STATE? Do you have the right to NOT pay into social security? Do you have the right to not pay "federal" income tax?

no, but all those things i dont consider as infringing on my rights. if i dont pay taxes, what will fund our schools, our streets, veterans benefits, law enforcement, natural disaster relief....etc etc......?? and i dont ever recall saying i dont believe in war and foreign aid..... and yes, i do have the right to bear arms, thats why i own a gun. I do smoke pot, and im not a fuc*ing idiot about it, so the laws can kiss my ass cuz im not getting in trouble over it, AND it was just decriminalized in my state. (and ive actually gone to rallys and stuff about legalizing it, ya know, and not just sit online bitching..) I wouldn't want to fish without paying because they use that money to restock the waters and keep them clean, so im fine with that. and why i would not want to pay into social security is beyond me, i mean, im sure ill use that when im older! and again.. taxes, if we dont pay taxes how the hell is the government supposed to pay for things? i dont like getting things handed to me, especially by the government, so they can take what they take now, and ill go to community schools, drive on federal and state highways, and take my medicare and SS when im old.

Of course you will use SS when you are older, BUT, do you/did you have a choice? We have all been hoodwinked into believing that the answer is NO! And WHY should you have to pay a "tax" to get married? Why should you have to take a "licence" to marry? And I'm glad you're state legalized pot, BUT the federal government did not and they are fighting to over rule your Right to smoke it and your States 10th Amendment Right to legalize it. Obama and Hillary Clinton are working, at this very moment, with the U. N. to take away your Right to own that gun.
Your State gas tax goes to your roads. Your property taxes go to fund schools. If the federal government needs money for specific things they can get it as the Constitution requires. Art. 1, Sec. 2, Cl. 3.. Also read Art. 1, Sec. 8, Cl. 1.. Art. 1, Sec. 9, Cl. 4. Taxes are the only thing in the Constitution that are mentioned more than once. That should tell you just how important that was to the Founders.
Read the Declaration Of Independence and the Constitution. The Federalist and Anti Federalist Papers and the Magna Carta. And don't forget your State Constitution.

im not being fooled, im just not blaming one person for our countries problems, im doing what i can in my community, and if more people would quit pointing fingers and actually do something to help we might actually move forward. i dont dwell on things i cannot change, i improve the lives around me the best i can and take my own responsibility.
