I think the Democratic Party was overthrown by socialists in the late 50s to early 60s, when the transitition was made from the party of the working man to the party of the non-workers. What are your thoughts.

There is no such thing as the Democratic Party anymore, just in name only. They are all Progressive Socialists and even then they aren't truly the Progressives of old. The democratic party changes monikers as often as they change underwear. They dirty up one name and grasp a new one.

It's very simple! The type of modern day Socialism that many many Democrats want is in serious trouble as WE speak!

They are so blinded they want US to sign onto the UN's Global Taxes!

I have some severe issues with the Republicans (why I am not one of them) as well but that's not the question here.

There are not many practical Democrats anymore just a few.

I don't need or want OUR Government doing anything more than what is spelled out for it to do in the Constitution & Bill of Rights. My sincere opinion is they exceeded that standard long ago!

Actually, conservatives are virtually unrecognizable from the days of Lincoln and Eisenhower. A lot would even make Reagan raise an eyebrow.

Democrats have gone through transformations, too, I'm just saying don't be bias. You and I both know both parties have radically changed through history.
