Woooooow, I got nothing to say for this one. The sheer stupidity of the question has me gobsmacked.

So you think that because someone holds certain political views, they are mentally diseased? If that's not outright close-mindedness and prejudice, I don't know what is. Stop trying to garner raves, Scalded Eagle. This isn't even contributing to an intelligent discussion, anyway. It's lending itself to blind hate and judgment.

No but I think extreme views in either direction are fairly scary and irresponsible. I read many comments and was really saddened by the mean-spiritedness by some posters. My uncle always said I was a bleeding heart liberal in the sense that I was very pro-environment and wanting help provided for those that were underprivileged for the sake of the children. I will not apologize for wanting big business to have to be responsible for their waste and impact on the environment nor will I apologize for not wanting anyone to go to bed hungry. I also think even the poor and those that don't have health insurance should be able to get medical attention when it's needed. Do I believe in abortion? Absolutely not, however, conservatives do not get a pass just because of that issue and I'm not going to demonize everyone that is on the other side because of that issue.

No modern president ever spent his entire term blaming his predecessor for problems that he had been elected to solve. Yet progressives cheer Obama on after each incompetent failure and mis management of the economy. Obama has a simple strategy, blame Bush and play golf.

I will assume you are speaking of modern liberals that are better described as "progressives" or "statists". Our founders were classic liberals but the polar opposite of progressives and statists.

That being said, I believe most to be mental patients but there is a large group of elitists that use these eutopian theories to create the perfect world for those with lots of money.

If liberalism is a mental disorder than conservatism is as well. Each side of the fence only sees the pros in their ideological society and ignores the serious negative side effects to having a government run the way they would have it run.

I think the word servile describes liberals perfectly.

And how does that differ with conservatives? Each side thinks they're way is the correct way and each side believes their way would be best for America. If you can't stand the middle and see the good and bad from each extreme than perhaps you have a brain disorder (of course I don't need ratings so I don't REALLY pretend that ones political views automatically means they have something medically wrong with them.)
