Abolish Senator and Congress retirement immeiately and lower the deficit emensely. We don't need anymore Presidential Libraries. Let Politicians only receive Social Security when they become of the age to receive it and ban them from any Corporate Executive positions for life. IMHO TYFYI

Reaganomics (Ray-Gun-Omics) turned Millionaires into Billionaires AND Romney-nomics will turn Billionaires into Trillionaires! Want to see what the Uniteds States will be in twenty years? Just look at Northern Greece, where Corporate Raiders (a la Romney) and Gangster Bankers eradicated that country's manufacturing base. There is no democracy in these United States, only Fascism in the name of Republicans. A Congress filled with Joe McCarthy ideologs. Time for a French Flavored Revolution Worldwide. IMHO Thank You For Your Indolence-Sheep-eople! http://images.sodahead.com/pr...

VOTE THEM ALL OUT, especially the wimpy Rinos, Boehner first; yes YOURS, yours is NOT a good one. The ONE and ONLY way we stop the tyranny is to send them a LOUD message; YOU'RE FIRED !!! Then the new ones will be scared of us.

You don't POST there; you work to end the tyranny. Of course you don't see the tyranny because your progressives are pretty much in charge. But regardless of which side is in charge, we keep going backwards. The damn Dems have had Congress all but what, 12 years since the Civil War; we are so far out of kilter I don't know if we can get back.

It's not like the TEA Party and the GOP aren't trying to make up for lost time. It's not about partisan points of view, its about getting people of differing views to work together to create solutions

The Tea Party is trying to return America to the principals that made us the one and only country in the world where everyone wanted to come and pursue their dreams. We shifted to socialism beginning with Bush 41 and right on up to today. The American peiople have been robbed; the tyranny is stifling to prosperity, and the crony capitalism needs to end replaced with our true free market capitalism. Right now that market is RIGGED from the top to the bottom, a high stakes poker game and "we the people" don't have a seat at the table.

Thankyou! Finally, a place where I can be a CONSERVATIVE Democrat and not have to buy into the looney liberal left nor do I have to accept the 'no solution' apathic anger of the right. I strongly believe in the American ideal of capitalism. But with commonsense. It is not a crime to make a profit nor does the free market warrant unlimited profits where mom and pop operations are subject to unfair advantages to large chains like Walmart, Target or Best Buy. We are NOT Europe and their solutions are not ours.

The Civil Rights era was pretty bad; I remember in Greensboro, NC in 1980 the National Guard was called in for a KKK rally; the pararde of military vehicles rolling into town looked like one of the Soviet or Chinese parades where they show off their artillery.

people don't want to remember that time; I was a little boy in upstate NY and knew my cousins below the Mason-Dixon line had an entirely different experience growing up in these United States. I used to see the news shows at 6pm with Walter and wonder where we'd all end up..... That was after the very dark days following the JFK assassination. People don't remember because they have the luxury of not having to.
  • Tuna taitaFa... 2012/06/21 21:23:46

And the MLK assassination; of course Hoover had MLK followed, found he had a lot of communist/Cuban friends. JFK was a conservative democrat who got in the way of the progressives/communists; just like Reagan did and they tried to kill Reagan but failed. These communist/ progressives are strange people.
  • taitaFa... Tuna 2012/06/21 21:37:48
    taitaFalcon23
it's all very strange; we the people have to keep our eye on democracy because there is no shortage of enemies on freedom. Both the JFK and MLK assassinations have more questions than answers - that has to be done on purpose to elude the truth for so long. Just remember, your enemy comes to you with smiles. They're like a beautiful light.

Then you may remember Nikita Kruschev pounding his shoe; swearing that communism would take America without even firing a shot. They are in our government, our education, our finances, our military, and our churches; ripping us apart from within. That's what Reagan exposed and JFK stood against them. We know what happened to JFK and nearly to Reagan. Why are they not trying to kill Carter or Clinton or Obama ???? Because they are part of the movement.

Obama is in a term where we are in a recession! he doesn't have time to be going 2 Martha's Vineyard or Hawaii! He has to turn the country around! In case you didn't know, that means, helping the citizens get more jobs, create more jobs, and by that the man HAS TO BE IN OFFICE! it's NOT that hard to figure out! both sites that don't know what they r talking about! lol go to a REAL newsroom called FOXNEWS... 'No big deal right?' ("that was sarcasm incase YOU didnt know...") but... also bush had already sent out troops by that point so it was kind of taken care of... but also OBL and the Taliban couldn't be taken care of within 2 days so Bush had done his part. and obviously, reagan did his part because he cleaned up JIMMY CARTER'S mess.... that's okay tho, obama's a saint... he's a saint because it can help you and other's sit around and collect money everyday so YOU don't have to work while OTHERS work their butts off for you! another reason why welfare doesn't work... but anyway who cares? my money gets thrown out the window to blind people like you!

    GWB

all 400+ days on taxpayer time

that is a at best mixed point of view; fact he was handed a mess that was made in 8 yrs, 2 yrs into his term he had to battle another branch of govt focused on making sure he would have the most difficult time possible and he has gotten some good things done in spite of that. I heard Tahiti is exceptionally expensive - but good luck when you get there.... I'm not blind nor living under a rock; I have to live here too. We can either solve problems or we can keep the stalemate going and we see where that has gotten us.

    Obama did:

-gracefully reduced our involvement in Iraq
-gracefully reduced US disadvantages of the Kyoto climate treaty
-reduced gender pay gap; your wife/mother/sister/daughter will bring home more pay
    - got the muslim world to work out their own solutions instead of this gun for hire approach GWB had.
    - it may not be important to you but 25 million people now have health coverage they never had before.
    - backed N.Korea down from having a finished nuclear weapon.
    -kept Russian managable
    - ditto China
    - got Europe to face its own economic problems without the US providing a bailout like post WWII
    - was here when Wall st. made record profits - they'll turn their back on him and go for Romney but the truth is they made more money than at any other time in history.
There is more but this man has only been in office for 3.5 yrs

    1. why would YOU want to back down from Iraq?
    2. Obamacare is not good for our country... here's why: our country can't afford it, because it is predicted that obamacare will cost 1.7 trillion over 10 years. 4 million fewer people will be able to obtain health insurance coverage from their employer, and two million more people will be left uninsured leaving 26 MILLION- 27 MILLION without insurance... and you think this guy is a saint?! keep sugarcoating it buddy

the war in iraq as a threat to the united states had run it's misquided course; we should not have been there in the 1st place - there was no tie in to the iraqis and OBL. The drain on our economy that added to the deficit under GWB and Obama served no justified purpose.

There provisions of the AFA that have always had bipartisan support there are some rough spots that need to be straightened but that is what we pay them for. Healthcare is not going to get cheaper. Paradigms are going to shift. More people are covered now than in history. that is not to say there will not still be changes.

For example, the medical industry will look more like pre-paid legal where the princple won't be treated like gods but well compensated employees instead. The days of $200K operations will be a thing of the past.

The costs of procedures will be more like a like of services regulated by a range of 'acceptable charges' instead of accepting the ego driven fees of worshipped specialists. But that has to happen thru a shift in how a doctor pays back his student loans by becoming a member of a staff instead of an unregulated symbol of Christ.

Another example of cost savings will be closer justification of expensive procedures. I underwent a $27K MRI that told the doctors the same thing a cheaper CT scan told them earlier that same month. I personally felt good about the results but then again, I didn't have to front the money myself.
