jake, the name-calling reveals your TRUE character! I suppose Romneycare is an abject failure, as well- since it's a model for what u people refer to as Obamacare. Secondly, who are we to put innocent, hard-working people down due to racism. There are ramifications regarding deportation, I'l admit; but to blatently say deport all immigrants is wrong! For all of us are immigrants or descendants of immigrants! Good bye, God be with u!

What name calling? Obama is either one or the other. Take your pick.

Yes Romneycare is a complete failure. What's interesting is many will vote Romney thinking he will repeal Obamacare. I'm not so sure Romney will.

Who said anything about deporting all immigrants? Illegal Immigrants hell yes. They are here illegally which means they are breaking the law which means they are criminals.

Contemporary politicians are ethically obligated to represent the consolidated interests of the constituency they represent. They are not legally or by historical practice required to do so. The nature of the game is to spend enough money to enable being elected and to promise whatever it takes to do so.
The name, sex, race or religion-with some considerations, is of secondary importance
to the mix of elected office holders in every office from the small community leader to the President of the United States.
The national rejuvenation and enervation we seek will NEVER come from the top down. The "Trickle up" theory is the only rational, social, monetary and governing system flexible enough to endure for extended periods of time. It works from the bottom up; not from the top down.
It is up to you and I to vote out, without consideration of the slick campaigning, any one whose voting record does not serve the consolidated interest of the constituency of the office and of the Nation.
It is not fitting for the tail to wag the dog. Perhaps it is time to put the bite back in the proper end of the dog.

Blind party affiliation and compliance, like political correctness, is a form of ignorance!
I will admit that is my considered opinion.

And thankfully so if this is the case. Obama is a very lose, very dangerous canon and he's pointing his sights at America. His miserable plans for jump starting the economy by spending billions on government jobs was an absolute failure since government jobs do not spur the economy they burden it. Obama then turns around and shoves Obamacare down America's throat which will further still damage the economy. In case you weren't aware, someone has to pay for that. He wants to raise taxes which also serve to impede economic recovery and growth even further. He has essentially just dumped damn near 1 million more workers into an already ridiculously high unemployment rate and you expect those action will make it all better? But what they hell the private sector is doing fine, it's those guvmint jobs we need more of right? Please get a grip on reality.

If we consider the nature of a capitalist business system we find that it is based on delivering a product or service, at a profit, to markets comprised of human beings and businesses.
Ideally if the product is not suitably priced and of adequate utility it will not create a demand that will allow the business to prosper thru sales of its product.

Trickle down theory simply states that it is more advantageous to the natural economy to pay a bailout to the customer (the populace) which in turn will "trickle up" thru the business community raising the demand for products and in turn increasing the net income and productivity of businesses.

The only legitimate function of government in this process is to protect the populace from the excesses and predatory practices that always appear among unregulated markets, Situations creating gigantic bailouts are not created by the individual citizen. They are created by businesses themselves. Bailouts due to these practices make more sense when paid directly to the reduction of the debt of individual citizens, making bailouts of businesses unnecessary. Therein lays the reason for a 'Trickle up' Theory and its mechanics.

Seems to me you don't have the first clue where I am coming from. It does not take a rocket scientist to a determine that the Obama and the rest of the Liberal Democrats are in it for the power, not the people. And even though it is completely none of your business, yes I am gainfully employed. I install, maintain and repair x-ray scanning systems for cargo, baggage and personnel and the pay ain't bad either. Plus I can type entire words! Amazing aren't I?

I agree completely with the egalitarian concept of 'government of the people, for the people, by the people.' However, it seems to me that we are drifting away from the purity of the intent and toward a Plutocratic Republic. While that may seem to be an oxymoron it is not. It is simply that the inadequately regulated Capital (money) community and its business representation has acquired the Capital (money) hence the influence to buy massive cross-media and direct contact campaign manipulation to serve its own agenda. It is the unfortunate product of such activity that the Republic can no longer adequately represent the people.
We begin to repeat to ourselves the things we hear and see regardless of the veracity of such information until we accept it is as own. At that point we have lost the Republic.
I do not think living in a Plutocratic Republic is a very palatable concept.

The panoramic view is that of a Frankenstien monster now out of control. At one point helping Joe have a pair of shoes became subsidizing the entirety of his existence. At the beginning of the 20th century there were no federal taxes. What we have now is a pretense of representation under the guise of progress. What you call 'repeat to ourselves' I call 'take for granted'.

They have ALL FAILED horribly. If they did what they were supposed to we wouldn,t be sixteen trillion in debt, on the verge of becoming a dictatorship, in at least two unpopular wars with more on the way, and falling apart at the seams. And that,s just Congress. I haven,t even started on the presidents for the the last forty years from either party.Lots of blame to go around.

Fact: 2 years before Obama got elected, the democrats controlled congress, after Obama got elected they had a super-majority. We now have a 16 trillion dollar debt, an 8.5 on the books unemployment, off the books closer to 20%. We have illegals holding better jobs than a lot of Americans but doing so under the table while drawing welfare, food stamps medicaid and living in section 8 housing that legal American taxes pay for. We have medicare cut while congress uses the money save to bolster their insurance while the elderly pay for it. We have a new agency to get Americans non-dependent on foreign oil while we still have the old one and neither are doing squat. Gas prices have gone way up, cost of living has gone way up, the housing industry is still sinking faster than an elephant in quick sand. We can sit back and claim Bush did it, but facts state otherwise. Bush did not have control of the congress when the bailouts were passed, democrats did, Bush was not president when we hit 8.5 unemployment Obama was, Bush was not president when gas pushed over $3.00 a gallon and going up Obama was, Democrats passed the bailout and stimulus bills as well as the health care bill that will sink America even deeper in debt.

Fact: It took the Bush administration 8 years to accumulate 9.7 trillion in debt, Obama did so in 3. There are two sides to the story, one the MSM puts out and the other is FACTS. It is better to except the truth and make real changes than to ignore it. The truth is we are in this mess due to too much government interference in the private sector. Forced loans to people who could not afford them because they deserved to buy a house too. Really? Well take a look at the housing industry now. But what the heck blame the lending agents. Every state in debt and sinking due to forced longer unemployment payments and welfare as well as unions and their outrageous pay and benefits. How many of us retire with full pays or even half our paychecks? Well the government employees do. In the mean time they borrowed ours and now Social Security is broke. Fact. Guess who voted to open it to raiding by congress. Better yet go look it up. I could rant until next year this time but it is well known fact YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID.

In the words of Joe Walsh "you can't argue with a sick mind", I see you liberals for what you are. Now the game plan is seen so clear. Just deny the truth and lie about the facts. When the facts are shown then you call me a name with your twisted sense of humor. I realize you don't have any intention to acknowlage the actuality of the gospel truth. That would be contrary to your Bolsheviks socialist agenda you wish to infect our country with.
