Times change.
But I suppose you'll have an excuse for that.
A criminal can only be killed when he presents clear and present danger to others, not when he's home eating a cheese sandwich.
But wait; obviously blowing people up with manned drones isn't as bad as simulated drowning.
You can feign contempt because we took out a terrorist that was born on American soil. Personally, I don't care where he was born. Terrorists that are plotting strikes on American soil need to be eliminated.
Can you imagine if Bush had taken out bin Laden the way that Obama did? There would have been an effort to create a national holiday named for "Dubya". Fox News would have ran endless stories about how Dubya personally swam across the the Persian Gulf with a knife in his mouth, (Rambo style), and snuck up on bin Laden against incredible odds to take out the "evil doer".
But, alas, it was Obama that had the nerve to order this mission - a mission that would surely have ended his political career had it failed, the same way the failed rescue attempt ended Carter's. So, Boehner never even shed a tear.
Well, the U.S. Constitution disagrees with you - an American citizen, regardless of what criminal activity he's accused of committing, is entitled to due process per the U.S. Constitution.
We specifically targeted American citizens for assassination. They weren't simply 'in the area' of other terrorist targets; they were the targets.
Also least we not forget that the ATF began these operations under the Bush administration, I do not see where Holder is responsible for a botched ATF operation. He deals with fallout from federal operations not planning and implementation.
But top marks on the attempted partisanship rhetoric mixed in with a pinch of 'its against the constitution for an AGOTUS to go against the elected congress', I mean really nice push from the right to make this a political issue.
If you want someone to blame, blame the people who planned the whole idea of selling untrackable guns to drugrunners in an effort to track guns, it's that genius that should be put in front of congress and held to account not make it some big political issue to try and get a scalp of an administration in an election year it's pathetic partisanship.

“Wide Receiver [the Bush-era operation] was a gun smuggling interdiction effort that involved Phoenix-based ATF agents working in conjunction with Mexican law enforcement. It was a Phoenix border operation only. They were trying to build a case against a violent group of Mexican drug smugglers and the Mexican drug cartel to discover who they were and where they could be found. Wide Receiver began in 2005, involved 400 weapons, and all the weapons had RFID trackers installed in them. The Mexican government was informed and actively involved. The program was ended in 2007 when the drug dealers discovered the trackers that had been installed. No lives were lost.
Fast and Furious was begun in 2009 by the Obama administration and was an unconstitutional effort to build a case against American gun dealers, American private gun owners, and the Second Amendment. The Mexican government wasn’t involved in Fast and Furious. Over 300 people were killed, including two Americans. Wide Receiver no longer existed; it had been shut down for two years. Fast and Furious involved over 2,000 guns. The Obama regime didn’t care where the weapons ended up. There were no tracking devices and no effort was made to track them. No helicopters. There was no on-the-ground surveillance of the straw purchasers. The guns were sold and then walked across the border, and that was it. Four federal agencies were involved in maybe as many as 10 cities in five states. Fast and Furious was Obama’s effort to gain false information so he could use the information to introduce his gun control bill.”
right out of our borders.
