Exactly, NOBODY should be held to the mercy of some brain-dead Mayors or Governors acting like King Biscuit and dictating what businesses are allowed to operate within the city, county or state limits.

Hopefully these idiots got a taste today, of what happens when you play games with the people and try to politicize a non issue. Holy backfire, Batman.
Chick-fil-A Day kicked their butts and it will continue until they stop screeching.

Honestly, I don't stand with Chick-Fil-A, and I didn't even know Chick-Fil-A even existed before this whole thing ignited. What I don't understand is why the bloody man didn't keep his trap shut, I don't want your ideals floating around my head as I eat. Does he have the right to openly express his views? Of course. Do I have a right not to support his corporation based on his views, even though I believe in free speech? Of course.

Let's be clear. One person saying that he believes in family values and traditional marriage, is not outwardly attacking gay and lesbians everywhere. The fact that certain fools went out and claimed it meant more, or was hateful, or harmful in anyway...AND blame an entire company, its employees and anyone who chooses to eat there, afterward...says they are mentally unbalanced. I am against hate. But even more, I am against stupidity in all its forms. The people causing trouble for this company are just looking to cause problems. Not enough attention somewhere else? Insecurities? Hateful toward the concept of traditional values or family? Whatever their issues are, they need to learn how to act like adults and quit games that hurt good, hard working people...families...and more. If they want respect for their beliefs and lifestyle, they need to do the same, period.

We don't have Chick-Fil-A in this part of the country however when I travel to my home state (Ohio) I always patronize them. Ate there last Monday while I was in Ohio. Love them!!

If we allow lawmakers to decide who can open a business based on the owner's politics or personal beliefs, what can't they do? Amazing how many people who would otherwise be apoplectic over something like this are choosing to look the other way this time because they like the message it sends. The only message I'm hearing is tyranny. We're far far far beyond protesting and carrying signs, folks. Does anyone get the difference or is any form of hostility toward people who disagree now acceptable?
