    Exactly, NOBODY should be held to the mercy of some brain-dead Mayors or Governors acting like King Biscuit and dictating what businesses are allowed to operate within the city, county or state limits.

    Hopefully these idiots got a taste today, of what happens when you play games with the people and try to politicize a non issue. Holy backfire, Batman.
    Chick-fil-A Day kicked their butts and it will continue until they stop screeching.

    It was great to go by a Chick-Fil-A yesterday and see the cops having to direct traffic for people going in and coming out and it was packed.

    One thing people must remember that homosexuality is a lifestyle. So they should not have special rights.

    The funny thing to all this is Pope John Paul II came to the U.S. and said we needed to drop the death penalty, and for the homosexuals to come out of the closet, they did as you can see. Yet the Papacy backed Hitler during WW2 and Hitler killed homosexuals, gypsies and Jews. So everyone must remember no matter what the govenment gives you, they can take it away too. Obama and Rahm Emanuel are known homosexuals.

    Pius XII Opposed Deportations Imposed in Occupied Rome
    JERUSALEM, 1 MAR 2000 (ZENIT).

    After guarding Adolf Eichmann’s diaries for almost 40 years, yesterday the Israeli government made them public. Eichmann, a Nazi SS lieutenant colonel, was executed in 1962 in Israel for "crimes against the Jewish people and against humanity."

    Eichmann wrote these diaries during the months following his death sentence. They are especially chilling in their description of the way the Nazi regime came to the "Final Solution" against the Jews, and the way the extermination was implemented.

    The pages are also very interesting in studying the Vatican’s position on the persecution of Jews. Some people accuse the Church of having done nothing in October, 1943, when the Nazis began to deport Jews from their "ghetto" in Rome. However, Eichmann wrote that the Vatican "vigorously protested the arrest of Jews, requesting the interruption of such action; to the contrary, the Pope would denounce it publicly."

    This is a confirmation of the thesis of those historians who have collected documents on the action undertaking by the Vatican to defend Jews during those dark years. It must be kept in mind that Rome was occupied, and that the Church was the only institution that had the courage to denounce the Nazi action.

    In a chapter dedicated to Italy, Eichmann explains that "on October 6, 1943, ambassador Moelhausen sent a telegraphic message to Foreign Minister Ribbentrop in which he said that general Keppler, SS commander in Rome, had received a special order from Berlin: he had to arrest 8,000 Jews who were living in Rome to deport them to northern Italy, where they would be exterminated. General Stahel, commander of the German forces in Rome, explained to ambassador Moelhausen that, from his point of view, it would be better to use the Jews for fortification works. On October 9, however, Ribbentrop answered that the 8,000 Jews of Rome had to be deported to the Mathausen concentration camp. He emphasized that, in giving evidence under oath in the military prison of Gaeta on June 27, 1961, Kappler said that it was with that order that for the first time he heard the term ‘Final Solution.’ "

    "At that time, my office received the copy of a letter, that I immediately gave to my direct superiors, sent by the Catholic Church in Rome, in the person of Bishop Hudal, to the commander of the German forces in Rome, general Stahel. The Church was vigorously protesting the arrest of Jews of Italian citizenship, requesting that such actions be interrupted immediately throughout Rome and its surroundings. To the contrary, the Pope would denounce it publicly. The Curia was especially angry because these incidents were taking place practically under Vatican windows. But, precisely at that time, without paying any attention to the Church’s position, the Italian fascist government passed a law ordering the deportation of all Italian Jews to concentration camps," Eichmann wrote in his diary.

    "The objections given and the excessive delay in the steps necessary to complete the implementation of the operation, resulted in a great part of Italian Jews being able to hide and escape capture," Eichmann wrote. A good number of them hid in convents or were helped by men and women of the Church.

    You can believe this nonsense you wrote,me I prefer the truth. As the war drew to a close in 1945, partisan leaders debated what to do with the IL Duce should he be captured. Almost all agreed that he should be shot without trial. It was too dangerous to allow such a powerful figure to live, and in any case Mussolini had to pay personally for the crimes he had committed against the Italian people. Dictator Benito Mussolini attempted to escape the advancing Allied Army by hiding in a German convoy headed toward the Alps.Communists Partisans stopped and searched the convoy at Dongo. They found him in the back of a truck wearing a private's overcoat over his striped general's pants. The partisans took him prisoner and he was later joined by his mistress, Clara Petacci, at Mezzegra. The council of partisan leaders, lead by the Communists, secretly decided to execute Mussolini and 15 leading Fascists in retaliation. They were executed on April 29, 1945, and their bodies were hung at an Esso gas station in the Piazzale Loreto in Milan.

    When do you consider the start date of Holy Roman Empire under Charlemagne or Otto I? You left out the Seven Crusades(1095-1291 A.D.). The Protestant Reformation (1517 A.D), the Anti-Popes(3rd and mid-15th century), the Renaissance(1400-early 1600's A.D.) , the Age Discovery[Atlantic Ocean (1419–1507) - Indian Ocean (1497–1513)], Reconquista of Spain and Portugal(1095-1492 A.D.), the fall of Constantinople (1453 A.D.) I can go on ,but I think you get the point. I've read the Davinci Code and don't think much of it. You're just coming across as ill-informed and anti-Catholic.

    I just gave you a few examples, there are so many different ones and you even fail to name them.

    Constantine was the last Emperor/Pontifex Maximus of the Roman Empire and the first Pontifex Maximus of the Holy Roman Empire. He switched from Secular/Religious to Religious/Secular type government.

    Anti-Catholic? I'm Anti-Christian. Catholic is just one of the over 38,000 denominations in Christianity. Before the Reformation everyone were Christians, even the Jews. Read Martin Luther's 95 Thesis, he mentions Christianity not Catholicism. The Reformation is when denominations entered Christianity.

    I've been studying this stuff for years. The Pontifex Maximus is the Anti-Messiah the scriptures speak of and the only person that fits them all. The Roman Empire had to fall to reveal who this person was, then came the Holy Roman Empire and Nimrod was the first Pontifex Maximus over all pagan religions, so the Pope's lineage does not go back to Peter but Nimrod.

    Devinci Codes, scripture codes, I don't believe none of them.

    The Holy Roman Empire didn't exist until after fall of the Western Empire. After the fall of Rome in September 476 AD, the Eastern(Byzantium) Empire continued. The Emperor Diocletian saw the vast empire as ungovernable, and therefore split the Roman Empire in half and created two equal emperors to rule in 285 AD. Under Justinian I (527 - 565 AD), the Eastern Empire was still constructing impressive public monuments, such as the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. Justinian I reconquered Italy, North Africa and parts of Spain. During its existence the Byzantium state was known simply as the Roman Empire (Greek: Βασιλεία Ῥωμαίων, Basileia Rhōmaiōn;[Latin: Imperium Romanum) or Romania (Ῥωμανία) and was the direct continuation of the Imperial Roman State. The Byzantines maintained Roman traditions. Byzantium is today distinguished from Ancient Western Roman Empire insofar as it was oriented towards Greek culture, characterized by its practice of Orthodox Christianity rather than Roman Catholic Christianity. The Eastern Empire predominantly spoke Greek rather than Latin.

Otto was the first emperor of the realm who was not a member of the earlier Carolingian dynasty.     In Vita Constantini (Life of Constantine) Eusebius maintains that before the battle Constantine saw a cross over the sun with the inscription "In this sign, conquer" -- that night Christ appeared to him and told him to paint the cross (called the Labarum, a staff surmounted with globe, and capped with the Chi-Rho) on his soldier's shields (Vita 1:27-32); the authenticity of the Vita (c. 335 or 338) is generally admitted;
    Constantine wrote to Maximin Daia opposing the persecution of Christians and gave the palace of Fausta at the Lateran to Pope Miltiades for a synod, later as the papal residence;
    He completed the building of a civil basilica, constructed new public baths, and erected a Christian church at the Lateran which was completed with a baptistery;
    He published the decree of Galerius giving religious freedom in his realm, and ordered the prefect in Africa (Anullinus) to restore Christian property and aid the bishops;
    He dedicated a statue of himself in the Forum with the inscription "Through this salutary sign...I have freed your city from the yoke of the tyrant" (Eusebius, Eccl History 10:4:16; Vita 1:40) -- the vexillum, first known on the statue of an emperor, apparently was decorated with the Christian Chi-Rho monogram;
    Silver coins struck at Treves in 312 or 313 depict the emperor's crown with a helmet and the Christian monogram -- although the Sol Invictus and other pagan signs did not disappear until after 321, the vexillum and Christian monogram appeared regularly after 320, the Labarum after 326;
    the Constantinian arch depicting his victory over Maxentius contains pagan symbols, but no gods are named; the victory is attributed to an instinctu divinitatis (an impulse of divinity), an expression acceptable to Christians and pagans;
    Constantine attempted (313) to settle the Donatist schism in Africa; on appeal against the Catholic Bishop Caecillian he had Pope Miltiades hold a Roman synod that condemned the Donatist heretics (Eusebius, Eccl History 10:5:18-20); on second appeal he ordered a synod in Arles (314) and wrote to the bishops asking them to achieve unity and not allow critics to dishonor the Christian religion;
    He recognized the bishops as counselors of state, extended to them juridical rights; he gave legal force to their solution of civil suits, permitted the emancipation of slaves in church, and recognized bequests to the Church; he considered himself a colleague of the bishops (Codex Theodosianus 1:27:1; 16:2:4);
    Constantine seems to have felt himself divinely prompted to handle situations beyond the power of the bishops, gradually becoming involved in all the Church's affairs;
    He wrote to the Persian King Sapor in favor of Christians in his realm, and supported the Christian kingdom of Armenia;
    He did not enroll among the catechumens, but read the Scriptures and organized religious ceremonies for the Christian community in his palace;
    He made Sunday a civil holiday and freed Christian soldiers for religious services (Codex Theodosianus 2:8:1);
    the majority of his citizens were pagans, so he retained the office of pontifex maximus and continued the Sol Invictus and lux perpetua legends on his coinage and monuments which were expressions of the eternal quality of the Roman state;
    the Sol Invictus had been adopted in a Christian sense as demonstrated in the Christ as Apollo-Helios in a mausoleum (c. 250) discovered beneath St. Peter's in the Vatican;
    In a letter to the Orient, Constantine spoke of his experience of God's providence (Vita 2:24-42) and claimed a divine vocation to protect Christians in the Orient and the West; in a second letter he exhorted pagans to convert to "God's holy law" but proclaimed religious liberty for all (2:48-60);
    In an appendix to book 4 of the Vita, Eusebius edited an Oration to the Assembly of Saints that he attributed to Constantine; its authenticity is disputed, but it is a model of contemporary Christian apologetics;
    Constantine refused religious honors to the Roman Senate on the anniversaries Decennalia and Vicennalia (316 and 326);
    He leveled a cemetary on Vatican hill and built a vast martyr basilica on the spot where tradition located the grave of St. Peter the apostle;
    He induced his mother Helena to become a Christian, and she built a church on her property near the Lateran known as the Sessorianum, later called Santa Croce in Gerusalemme;
    He constructed the churches of St. Agnes, St. Paul-Outside-the-Walls, and Sts. Peter and Marcellinus in conjunction with Helena's mausoleum;
    A double church was built at Treves and in Antioch (328), an octagonal edifice close to the imperial palace;
    He aided in the construction of the Nativity basilica in Bethlehem (Vita 3:41-43), the Eleona church of the Ascension on the Mount of Olives (3:41-43), the basilica on the site of Abraham's sacrifice (3:51-53), and the basilica of the Resurrection in Jerusalem (3:25-40) to whose dedication he called the bishops from a synod at Tyre (4:43-46) in 335;
    In 330 he wrote to Eusebius, asking him to have fifty copies of the Christian scriptures (both Testaments in Greek) prepared for use by the churches in the city; the fifty copies were made on good parchment by trained scribes, the emperor would defray the entire cost and authorize use of two public carriages to transport the copies to Constantinople; Eusebius proceeded without delay and the scriptures were prepared as specified and sent in "magnificent and elaborately bound volumes" (Vita or Life of Constantine 4:36-37; see F.F. Bruce The Canon of Scripture, page 203).

    You have fallen for the Christian lie too. Christianity has always been a pagan sun worshipping religion. All Constantine did was changed from Emperor/Secular to Pope/Religious power, thus Roman Empire to Holy Roman Empire that simple.

    The CROSS is a pagan symbol, the true Messiah was killed on a STAKE a POLE. Jesus, Christ, Lord, God, Amen, Hades, Hell, Sin, Bible, are just a few of the pagan deities that Rome put into scriptures to deceive the world with. Why do you think Christians do Christmas, Easter, New Years, Valentines, etc. for? They are all pagan holidays. Christians are pagan to the core.

    The Latin Vulgate the only scriptures to be had for over a thousand years and locked up in the Latin tongue. How many generations is a thousand years? Now you know in part how the lie was perpetuated.

    The gibbet on which crucifixion was carried out could be of many shapes. Josephus describes multiple tortures and positions of crucifixion during the Siege of Jerusalem as Titus crucified the rebels; and Seneca the Younger recounts: "I see crosses there, not just of one kind but made in many different ways: some have their victims with head down to the ground; some impale their private parts; others stretch out their arms on the gibbet."
    At times the gibbet was only one vertical stake, called in Latin crux simplex. This was the simplest available construction for torturing and killing the condemned. Frequently, however, there was a cross-piece attached either at the top to give the shape of a T (crux commissa) or just below the top, as in the form most familiar in Christian symbolism (crux immissa).

    For one, Jerome could never had called the Messiah by the name Jesus, or mentioned the religion of Christianity. So, either he was lying and a Christian, or his works were rewritten to fit Rome's indoctrination of the world.

    For two, there are not many trees in Israel so I doubt very much if they would waste wood on a CROSS, but use a stake or pole instead. Not only that but the Cross comes from paganism and stands or Tammuz, so I doubt very much if Israel would even have allowed it at that time. But you said it in Christian symbolism.

    The word CROSS was introduced to English in the tenth century as the term for the instrument of the torturous execution of the Messiah (gr. stauros', xy'lon), gradually replacing rood, ultimately from Latin crux, via Old Irish cros. Originally, both "rood" and "crux" referred simply to any "pole."

    "Rood" is an archaic word for "pole", from Old English rōd "pole", specifically "Cross", from Proto-Germanic *rodo, cognate to Old Saxon rōda, Old High German ruoda "rod" (OED, "Rood"); the relation of rood to rod, from Old English rodd "pole" is unclear; the latter was perhaps influenced by Old Norse rudda "club").

    Another ancient cross-shaped symbol is the Swastika, which may originally have represented the apparatus used in kindling fire, and thus a symbol of sacred fire or as a symbol of the sun, denoting its daily rotation. The swastika has also been interpreted as the mystic representation of lightning or of the deity of the tempest, and even the emblem of the Aryan pantheon and the primitive Aryan civilization.

    In ancient Egypt, the ankh , or crux ansata, often appears as a symbolic sign in the hands of the female deity Sekhet, and appears as a hieroglyphic sign of life or of the living.

    The fifth century B.C.E. tombs at Naqsh-e Rustam, Iran, are carved into the cliff side in the shape of a cross. They are known as the "Persian crosses."

    Thus, various cross shaped symbols were used in different cultures not only for their ornamental value, but also with religious significance.

    It is also true that the cross has been associated with episodes of violence, slavery, and racism. Ever since Emperor Constantine first instructed his soldiers to put the cross on their shields, the cross was also viewed as a popular medieval weapon—the sword—and became associated with the Crusading knights and colonial imperialism. Crusading Kings were ordained by the sword, and they believed that the cross would protect them in battle, as did future Christian empires. Thus, began a long history of the cross'

    “After showing the pagan origin of the cross, The Encyclopædia Britannica, Vol. 7, of edition 11, page 506, says: ‘It was not till the time of Constantine that the cross was publicly used as the symbol of the Christian religion.’ That was but logical, for Emperor Constantine was a worshiper of the pagan sun-god, whose symbol was a cross. Other experts have pointed out that ‘before the fourth century the cross was not used as a Christian emblem in the East any more than in the West’.

    Crusade means "War of the cross".

    During the time of the Inquisition, the Catharis were forced to wear a yellow crosses on their clothes to represent their "heresy."

    In modern times, the Ku Klux Klan was notorious for using burning crosses to terrorize African-Americans.

    The cross remains a powerful symbol in most forms of Christianity today including, Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, and Anglicanism, among others, which continue to make the sign of the cross upon themselves.

    1. CROSS a pagan sun symbol.

    The cross is often shown in different shapes and sizes, and in many different styles.

    2. CROSS a symbol for Tammuz, which is Nimrod. It is the same symbol seen on hot crossed buns. It is this symbol of mourning for Tammuz that is practiced among millions of Christians on Ash Wednesday. The sign of the cross, where they use their fingers and marks the sign of the cross on their chest is derived from the worship of Tammuz. It is this same symbol that the priest makes on the forehead with ash of professing Christians on Ash Wednesday.

    3. Constantine and the battle of the Milivian Bridge is where he saw the cross in the sky and was told to, "IN THIS SIGN CONQUER." The ‘cross’ became his symbol. This was the motto written upon the banners as they rode into battle during the Crusades. The ‘cross’ became his symbol, this is quite ironic too, because it was also the symbol used in ancient Assyria, Chaldee, and Babylon as well. The cross became the symbol of identity for the Roman lion beast - they held themselves in exaltation.

    (Constantine being a pagan sun worshipper.)

    4. The Crusaders all had the CROSS on their shields.

    5. Common people were confirmed by the Bishop, receiving from him in holy chrism the cross on their forehead; this was to be the mark, the character imposed.

    6. The cross remains a powerful symbol in most forms of Christianity today including, Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, and Anglicanism, among others, which continue to make the sign of the cross upon themselves.

    A. Some make the sign of the CROSS in front of them with hand.
    B. Some make the sign of the CROSS at baptism.
    C. Some make the sign of the CROSS on their bodies.
    D. Some make the sign of the CROSS on their foreheads.

    7. People wear a CROSS for a symbol of Christianity, to show they are Christians. Now they are putting tattooed crosses on their bodies.

    Christianity is "Sun worship" mixed with Truth.

    Jesus, Christ, Amen, Sacred, Lord, God, Adonai all sun deity names.

    The following is from the book, "The Thunder Of Justice" by Ted and Maureen Flynn

    The Cross On The Forehead - paragraph heading, page 329. About apparitions of Mary and what she said.

    They are using the scripture of Ezekiel 9:1-9

    Scriptures state in Ezekiel 9:4, that Yahweh told them to "set a mark on the peoples forehead" that sigh and cry out for the abominations that were done among them.

    This book replaces that with: "and mark a CROSS on the foreheads"

    This book does use Yahweh's name in many places.

    Today's Safety - paragraph heading, page 329 - 330.

    Presently we are seeing another story unravel for those specially destined for protection. A modern-day "blood on the doorpost" and "the MARK OF THE CROSS ON THE FOREHEAD of all who deplore and disaprove of filth" is now being given to Mary's cohort.....(Mary) said that Heaven is protecting with a seal all of those with G/d. Nothing will harm those impressed by this image. (The Cross)....... " You are thus signed with the seal of my love, which distinguishes you from those who have allowed themselves to be seduced by the Beast and bear his imprinted blasphemos number. The Dragon and the Beast can do nothing against those who have been signed with my seal. (The Cross)

    On down the page it states this with Mary speaking it: I am imprinting my seal on your foreheads with the most holy sign of the Cross of my Son Jesus......I am opposing my children signed with the Cross of Jesus Christ...For this, I am imprinting upon your hands my seal which is the sign of the Father, of the Son, of the Holy Spirit....Allow yourselves all to be signed on the forehead and on the hand with my motherly seal..." (The Cross)

    Revelation 13:16-18
    And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
    Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

    Turzovka, Czechoslovakia, 1958 - page 331

    All my children wil receive and carry the sign of the cross on their foreheads.

    This sign will only my chosen ones will see. ( Could this mean it will only be seen with some special light?)

    Dozule, France - page 332

    All those who come to repent at the foot of the Glorious Cross (this apparition is referred to as the Glorious Cross) will be saved.

    On page 333, it states: It appears that we may witness a great display of the Cross in the sky as a special grace or preliminary warning before the peak of the chastisement and the occurrence of the darkness.

    The Jewish Encyclopedia says:

    The cross as a Christian symbol or "seal" came into use at least as early as the second century (see "Apost. Const." iii. 17; Epistle of Barnabas, xi.-xii.; Justin, "Apologia," i. 55-60; "Dial. cum Tryph." 85-97); and the marking of a cross upon the forehead and the chest was regarded as a talisman against the powers of demons (Tertullian, "De Corona," iii.; Cyprian, "Testimonies," xi. 21-22; Lactantius, "Divinæ Institutiones," iv. 27, and elsewhere). Kinda reminds us of Constantine when he was told to go an conquer with the cross.

    This is very interesting to about some guy named John Leary a so called prophet of the Catholic Church. But this is one of his on the CROSS: “We will know the people that will be with us as they will be marked with a cross on their foreheads. Those without a cross will not be with us.”

    Holy Roman Empire is image of the Roman Empire.

    Papacy is image of the Holy Roman Empire.

    Christianity is the image of the Papacy.

    We do not hate Gays, we just think that marrage should be between a man and a woman. The left accuses us of hate at every turn and none of it is true. They are the true haters.

    I'd like to know why people don't call them for what they are. They are homosexuals not gays, gay is a happy person, took a great word just to ruin its true meaning. It's like so many of you are afraid of using the word of what they really are, I will tell you what they are not and that is GAY.
