Exactly, NOBODY should be held to the mercy of some brain-dead Mayors or Governors acting like King Biscuit and dictating what businesses are allowed to operate within the city, county or state limits.

Hopefully these idiots got a taste today, of what happens when you play games with the people and try to politicize a non issue. Holy backfire, Batman.
Chick-fil-A Day kicked their butts and it will continue until they stop screeching.

The way I see it, freedom of speech is a right for individuals, not businesses. There's no need to turn a restaurant into a debate. Either way, freedom of speech also covers our freedom to not go to a restaurant. The real issue here is that EVERYONE SHOULD BE A VEGETARIAN~

CFA has every right to donate to causes as a Corp as well .. They aren't breaking any laws individually or as a Corp. Starbucks and Target donates to support homosexuality ~

I don't care if they're breaking laws. It's my personal opinion that homosexuality should never, ever, *ever* be discriminated against. And it's pretty sad that any companies even *have* to donate to support it. It shouldn't need support because there's nothing different about it.

Followup: I got even more blessings due to my standing with Chick-Fil-A.

On Tuesday 2012/08/07, I needed to pick a brother (who is the LEF's pointman in London) up at DTW and drive him to Sebring Campground for the Retreat. He flew into DTW via Dulles.

Well, one of his bags (larger, checked-in) which contained the second camera for recording the Retreat, as well as his bedding failed to come in on his flight--the airline then ensured it came in on a flight 4.5 hours later (he arrived at 14:00, the next flight arrived 18:30). So, I took him to my home so he could rest-up.

When I went to Toledo on 2012/08/01, I had bought a small party-tray of nuggets with Buffalo Dipping Sauce, which I had then frozen. So, this meant I could provide him dinner (nuked 8 nuggets each)!

I feel if you own a business , you should have the choice on whom you want to work there. I also feel the gays have the same riht to protest. It a waste because there are both asking for each to give up a right. Grab a sammie and take a walk and enjoy it with a loved one!

Actually, I do have to agree with you. I don't share the same views as Chick-fil-et but they can endorse anything legal that they want to. If I had an unpopular opinion that my company endorsed, I would feel the backlash is unjustified.

Any business is permitted to express its position on any topic. Many businesses, such as Target, come out and endorse gay marriage. Why is it when a company endorses the straight lifestyle the haters come out and rail against it? The discrimination is obvious by the gay community. If someone disagrees with the gay lifestyle, many gays incorrectly label them as haters. It's not hate to disagree with the gay lifestyle. The hypocrisy is disgusting.
