After yesterdays victory for Republicans in WI and the influence of money from outside source, does this finally put that nail in the coffin of Democracy being sold out?
Yes, but this didn't happen yesterday or last month or last year. The beginnings of We the Corporation began in 1980 with Saint Ronnie. The same Ronnie that conservatives have wet dreams over.
Not in the least. And I do not see this as a bought election. You're trying to tell me in a state that is made up by a majority of people who vote for the democratic party that they all just were agape and dumbfounded by what the republicans had to say and laid down and went, "Aw, well, shucks, they spent so much money, guess I'll have to put aside every democrat principle I have and the fact that I've voted democrat all my life and run over to the polls and vote republican"? Is that what you're trying to tell me? Sorry, not buying it.
Okay, I missed the part where you said both sides spending money. But, I'm sorry, don't see that you can buy an election without fraud at the ballot box. And still do not see more ads on TV and radio making Joe Blue Dem vote repub or Joe Red Repub vote dem.
Been missing you guys also. Looks like I"ll be pretty much out of touch for at least another two/three weeks. Gonna be doing that hit and miss thingy - on and off. Have a great 4th.
Democracy was sold out when Liberals force every teacher to pay union membership. Walker deleted the requirement and now only 28 percent of the teachers want to pay for union membership.
After many years we now have Democracy and free choice in Wisconsin.
"Voters in California Back Pension Cuts for City Workers"
“In San Diego and San Jose, voters overwhelmingly approved ballot initiatives designed to help balance ailing municipal budgets by cutting retirement benefits for city workers. Around 70 percent of San Jose voters favored the pension measure, while 66 percent of San Diego residents supported a similar measure.”
Thanks.
I was thinking if I won the Lotto, I move to another country... :p
Thanks!
Sad!
Thanks.
You didn't get it... It's not Left or Right... It's about MONEY spent on BOTH sides...
Where you at today? We've missed you..
Here's what you've been missing... I've been very busy today.... LOL

Have a great time.

Another one that just doesn't get it...
It's about how BOTH parties have sold us out...
Get a clue already... Tell us why it's more important to put partisan ideology over being American?
We really want to know...

These votes where not based on Republicans versus Democrats. They were totally based on Democracy.
Do you get it? Citizens are making their Democratic choices at the voting both. This was two California cities.
