Rave This: If you find what is going on with the Labor Unions tonight, very interesting to say the least.

Scalded Eagle 2012/12/12 03:59:20
What the hell is going with the Labor Unions, I see nothing wrong with Right to Work. I think when it comes to work, everyone should have the freedom of choice.

"Right to work" = lower wages and no job security.

If you look at the salaries of the union leaders, are they any less crooked than the CEOs of major companies?

Everyone should compete on an equal basis for any work .
they should prove they have the skills, talents ..
prove they will do the work too ..
there's no reason why anyone should ever be INVOLUNTARILY compelled .. or threatened by any union ..
and if you choose to not belong .. you shouldn't see your paycheck extorted for union dues either ..

Unfortunately I think things are about to change drastically. Unemployment rates will drop as more drop out of the labor force. Eventually we'll have more of a semblance of adequacy. If we want full employment, we have to give up other things... minimum wage, and others ... Or move to Inglanost or St. Catherine where the nwe BMW plant is going up.

If the unions are so great ... and do such great things for the "poor and downtrodden" worker ... then what are the unions worried about?

"Right To Work" is a brilliant psy-op that really means, "Right To Sell Yourself Out," and "Right To Throw Away What Was Paid For With Great Struggle and Sacrifice."

Talk about disarming yourself! You know full well that the Super Elites believe in unions! They are rabidly class conscious and belong to the world's most powerful union! The Union of Finance Capital. They have more than lobbyists. They OWN Congress, the Senate, and have plenty of judges in their back pockets.

In the face of such organized crime, all We The Slaves have is the ghost of Organized Labor. And you are allowing yourselves to be stripped down to the weakest political unit of all. The Individual. Collective action is a necessary evil and inconvenience. So is mass violence against the Power Elites who have robbed us of our livelihoods. It's about 30-40 years too late for that, unfortunately. It's pointless to defend an empty fortress unless there is intent to restore its stolen power. Restoration is more difficult than preservation. Restoration cannot take place unless Justice is satisfied, first, and the traitors punished.

It is no coincidence that the standard of living has fallen as Labor's power has fallen. It is a firm correlation that as Labor has weakened, our living standards have ...

It is no coincidence that the standard of living has fallen as Labor's power has fallen. It is a firm correlation that as Labor has weakened, our living standards have fallen. Debt slavery has conveniently been introduced to help us pretend that our standard of living hasn't fallen too much. The ability to accumulate private capital via income and savings was lost decades ago because America's domestic Labor value has been destroyed by design. Along with the value of wages denominated in privatized fiat Fed Reserve Notes.

By design, the Feds want us ALL incapable of supporting ourselves and requiring Federal checks in order to survive. Our long acquaintance with defacto slavery will finally become de jure slavery.

Union thugs afraid to let people have a choice, want to bullie them into a union that protects the trouble makers and carters to certain workers at the expense of other workers. No union free choice

Don't be fooled by the name "Right to Work."

I think everyone should have freedom of choice too. I just think it's important for it to be an informed choice.

yes, I agree everyone should have freedom of choice, however if the opt out of belonging to the union then they should also opt out of any union coverage! Meaning if they don't want to be part of it, then when the boss is threating, harassing, denying you the benefits, time off, raises or whatever the case may be, you don't ask/expect the union to protect/support you.

What? There is power in numbers - unions united workers to demand fair and safe treatment, "Right to work" takes all of that away...allowing employers to reduce pay, elimate fair and equal treatment of workers ...some workers getting paid less then the brown nosers... Unions allowed "equal" treatment. Unions instilled integrity amongst employers. Unions raised the bar on wages paid across the country to even non-union jobs. Wthout unions in those "right to work " (misleading because it really favors management bosses) states workers can not be united and are therefore rendered powerless. Right to work was developed by company owners to want to skiim more for themselves off the top of production profits and take away from and offer less pay and benefits to the workers. Mr Ford paid a decent wage so all his workers could afford to buy the very products they built the Model T Ford car... You will never see that now in this greedy top 1% corporate heads... Who are near sighted and just want to take the money and run to invest in foreign markets ....they are guilty of turning the USA into a third world like economy...if they do not pay workers enough so they can have money to buy things ....

I believe that everyone should have the right work if the are qualified for the position they are applying for.

I also believe that unions do have a place in the work force to help protect the work rights of employees. I do not believe that it should exist to merely as a crutch for mediocre or problematic employees to impose their will on the employer, which it seems unfortunately is what it has become!
