I just do not understand why politics becomes a reason for personal attack on other people. Its thoughts, Ideas and theories I don't believe being a democrat or even a communist makes someone the great Satan no more then i think someone being a republican makes them a white knight.

There was never meant to be more than a single party...all positions were supposed to be negotiated inside one party to avoid dividing the country into parties and factions. Read what our first president had to say about it in his farewell address:
"It serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration....agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one....against another....it opens the door to foreign influence and corruption...thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.".

The Democrats have helped the middle class and will continue helping the middle class. The conservatives have done nothing to help the middle class and will continue to do nothing helping the middle class. The conservatives want to take away healthcare from the middle class, prosper the wealthy people by taking away from the middle class. The conservatives have caused the lay off of teachers, public safety employees and government workers by not going along with a bill that will put those teachers,public safety employees and construction workes back to work. The only thing the conservatives is interesting in is making sure that wealthy people income prosper and middle class people reamain as they are and if they want to prosper they should pull themselves up by their own bootstrap when some don't even have booth straps.

Compared to North Korea. lul. Yep there simply draining the wealth collected from when we where a free republic. USA 14 trillion in the hole China 11 trillion in the green. Its working just great. In realty you get the same rights and personal freedoms in pretty much any developed country.

- Neoconservative Republicans
- Liberal Democrats
- Paleoconservative Constitutionalists
- Socialist Greens
- Libertarians
- Progressives (being the left equivalent of Libertarians and not a leftist moment that full-out supports big government.)
- Reformist Centrists

There should NOT be a two party system. There should be several minor parties. The Republican/Democrat systems are destroying this country by fighting like two year olds. If they could at least compromise and work together to a point it wouldn't be so bad. But they refuse.

I'm aware of that. I might just re-register as an Independent from now on. That way no matter who gets in office, I can say I had nothing to do with it. I have more common sense than you know about. I wouldn't have survived on my own this long if I didn't.

Unfortunately every time a third party starts up it just takes voters from one of the big two and lets the other big two party win.

Yes, I am not afraid to admit Bush did a horrible job his last few years. We all have to point out the truth and not just blindly follow a party, which blind loyalty seems to be rather prevalent in the DEM party nowadays

Both parties have let their supporters down. There are many liberals in the Republican party. Then it seems like the two parties are under the control of other anti-American powers.
