If Romney gets elected I will very, very cautiously approach the notion that America will recover and take it with a grain of salt until I see real positive results. I am mystified and disenchanted that the two viable choices we have boil down to Obama and Romney. My leanings favor the Constitution party who are of course not newsworthy and thus get no coverage. The political system is an absolute joke but Obama was, is and never will be a choice for me. A re-election will only make things worse.
That's true but think about the alternative---I like Romney and think he is going to be a great President but I also believe Ron Paul would have really shook this up. I just hope other Paul supporters will jump on board to get rid of Odumbo
Sorry; I see these RINOs as the socialists, the nazis, the Mein Kampf crowd afterall thatis where the Bush family fortune came from. I see the democrats as the communists, the soviets, the totalitarianists. Russia and Germany did not get along just like we have today in our politics.
Voting for Romney or Obama will change......nothing. Until you change the way money works, you change nothing. People feel that thier country has been taken aways from them, because all of a sudden the age of cheap energy and cheap food, and the easy life style is going away. The institutions that people relied are suddenly the bad guys.
You know what the president is, a scapegoat for the real people behind the collapse of america. If you want to find the real culprit of your declining quality of life, all you have to do is simply look into a mirror.
A vote for Romney will make 1% of the population very happy.
I kind of hope he wins. I can't wait to hear what conservatives say when he privatizes everything and it costs more to take a shower than to fill your tank.
Voting for President Obama and voting in many democrat congress people will ensure that the wealthy people pay their fair share of taxes, end the wars, cut out medicare frauds and create jobs. When jobs are created, people pay taxes. All these things will help reduce the deficit.
No, it is Bush policy taken to the extreme. if you like Bush's failed policies, you'll love Romney's. It would boost unemployment because it slashes public spending next year and the year after, when the economy is still likely to need a boost, not a fiscal drag. It would be the same austerity trap now throwing Europe into recession. According to the Economic Policy Institute, Ryan's plan would mean 1.3 million fewer jobs next year than otherwise, and 2.8 million fewer the year after.
Voting for Romney is a vote to take our country back into the same mess that started the Great Bush Recession. Why would anyone be foolish enough to repeat that?
When exactly was the great Bush recession? And why are you harping on it now that we are in the "great democrats in congress including senator obama" recession?
Don't play dumb keymanjim. You know as well as I that Bush was responsible for the worst recession since the Great Depression. The deeper the hole, the longer it takes to climb out.
The minimum wage hikes caused people to lose their jobs. When they could no longer afford the mortgages they got through the CRA and could barely afford in the first place, they defaulted on them. This caused a sudden increase in houses on the market which burst the housing bubble.
