Lucy it is implemented within taxes. And will be "free" to use, unlike reg. health plans where there is a co-pay, so it is almost the same,[minus the co-pay] this way everyone can be covered.
Wouldn't vote any other way. We didn't know Obama when he came in and we gave him
a chance, why not Romney. I like his ideas better. While I'm registered as an independent
we don't have much of a choice, he's got to be better than what we have now.
Honey, if you voted Mitt Romney you would be making a mistake. All liberals and republicans are some crooked frickin people. They make promises to We The People and then, break them WTF is wrong with them ,my point is if you don't want to be begging for money from people like your friends in Greece as you had said then...........Mitt Romney isn't the answer!!!!!
All Democrats are lying, thieving, lazy, irresponsible, blamers that feel that everyone else should pay their way. So if you love your Country and being able to voice your freedom of speech, be bale to make a living and support your family without government assistance and don't want to be begging in the streets than you should vote for ROmney! (There how's that feel you moran.)
We need something but not this gold platted excuse for expanding the federal government budget and debt. We need to also think of the nation's financial health.
Well I'm voting Mitt cause there is not anyone else to vote for...was going to vote for RP....but I sure don't want current leadership in ....cause by the time he gets done with all his taxes he will raise...I'll be broke then.....haha
The overall tax rate on higher incomes will be as much as 75%. It seems that the French were not paying enough for their health care along with all the other social programs. What's more, the tax increases will affect everyone except those in poverty. There will also be massive spending cuts in government.
However, the tax increases may not increase government revenues, as those who can afford to move out , will do so. In the U.S., California is a good example.
The wealthy in this country do pay high taxes (35%) on earned income $388,350 and above; but because of the loop holes in the tax laws and since most of their income is derived from capital gains, they usually pay about 15%-17%, the same rate you would pay on the return of your investments. Even then, the top 10% of income earners in the U.S.currently pay 70% of all taxes.
However if you were wealthy (and perhaps you are) what would you do if the government now required you to pay 70-75% on ALL your income with no loop holes?....and 50% on all your income if you were middle class? ... all that accompanied by a reduction in services including health care.
The new president of France, François Hollande, is a Socialist; but unlike our president, he is not economically ignorant. He realizes that France is facing economic disaster from its Socialistic policies of the past and that not only must he increase revenues, but that he must also cut spending and reduce the size of government. The Socialistic model of France's past, which has led them into this state of affairs is the same model which Obama wishes to adopt here.
If the ACA is fully enacted, the CBO estimates that the cost to the U.S. will result in bankruptcy in a very short time. We are already on the verge of being bankrupt.
Try the BBC (European edition), the IRS tax manual (tax tables), and the current nonpartisan CBO (that stands for Congressional Budget Office) reports on the costs of the ACA down the road to tax payers and what it will add to the national debt. As far as 10% of the top wage earners in the U.S. paying 70% of all the taxes. That has been common knowledge for years...only now they actually pay 71%
I say that we need to change our ways. Stop all welfare payments and force those capable of physical work to pick our crops, and kick out all illegal aliens. Plus, kick out all aliens who were made citizens by Bush and Obama's presidential fiats.
If one is on welfare and capable of working, then he/she should be either allowed to work without losing benefits, or as you say, forced to be productive in some manner.
Absolutely right. I would move too out of any country that taxed me 75%. We fought for Independence from taxation without representation and that is what we are getting now, because we were not represented when it came to this health care. The President, democrats and Supreme Ct. have forced it upon us.
We all make mistakes, and Romney has admitted that mistake. He did not blame it on someone else. But Romney in MASS. was confronted with a totally Democratic legislature.

Oh yes... and as far as the 75% French tax goes, the following are just two articles from very reliable sources:
