The Supreme Court just upheld the law as being Constitutional.

I am neither a lawyer nor a politician. The Constitution made it so that soldiers don't run the military in this country, and that is the reason why.

It is not just a claim, it is a fact. It is also a fact that I pay very little for some really great health insurance ($437/year) so if I need to pay another $60/year ($5/month) it isn't going to kill me.

"All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives"

The version of "ObamaCare" that was passed and signed into law did NOT originate in the House. The individual mandate is a tax, according to the Supreme Court ruling.

A tax is a means of raising revenue. So, does this mean that the individual mandate is invalid, since it is a "tax" that did not originate in House?"

Lets see how this unfolds, shall we?

Six years of law school, 20+ years of practice, and devoting their lives to the study of law makes them pretty damned good, though. Add to that the political vetting process, and you have some pretty good minds on the Supreme Court. Now if we could get Fat Tony and the Supremos to quit voting what their political masters tell them we might be able to move this country forward, again.
