Conservatives had their chance with 2 Bush terms and BLEW IT. Obama's first term was SABOTAGED by the same slack-jawed haters. America needs a chance to recover from Republican & Teabagger stupidity.
IT'S TIME FOR THE HATERS TO BACK OFF AND LET THE PRES DO HIS JOB!!
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012!!!
The So-Called Dem “Super Majority”It's a myth that the Democrats had a "super majority" in the senate. Do the math. Al Franken was sworn in 7/6/2009 and Ted Kennedy died 8/25/2009. That's 50 days in the summer of 2009, in the middle of the healthcare debate. Senate was in session from 7/6 -8/7 before their summer recess (remember the town hall meetings) cutting the total to 32 days. Subtract weekends = 8 days, and the grand total of days Dems held power over the Senate is 24 days. The House took recess one week earlier on 8/3 .
Grand total number of days Democrats were in control of the House, Senate and White House: 19 days.

Now, that is sarcasm. Mocking would be calling you a bigot because you can't see any other way other than making marriage a legal institution and considering anyone else a bigot.
Bigot:
Sarcasm aside I was mocking the fact that people always say "Rave This" and then put the title all in caps as if that would make the question or poll title any more prevalent to it's subject.
n.
One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

Hmm. By this definition, you are also a bigot.
Not real crazy about either one.
So, your not "strongly partial" to the liberal political group? Also by your original post you imply that you are very intolerant of Republicans and "Tea Baggers". Should I define bigot again?
Blessings Upon You
(Edited to remove derogatory noun "hater")
At this stage of the game, I really have trouble finding anything to criticize Maddog about, other than the fact that it's probably premature to accuse BHO of trying to sell socialism to America.;
As for Obama being a Muslim, I don't think I'm a rarity amongst conservatives in thinking that Obama is whatever religion it politically profits him to be, and it's pretty hard to profit in America these days by being a Muslim; in the politics business Christianity still sells best and that's what BHO is. As to how conservatives feel about Islam, my basic thoughts are expressed on my profile and, essentially are that I, although personally agnostic, take offense at what I feel is an undue hostility by liberals/progressives towards Christianity, a hostility I don't currently perceive as being held against Islam.
Bottom line? I'm pretty comfortable w/ my original comment.
